I'd go out with a guy up to about 55. I'm 19.

Age isn't the main thing here. It's about power imbalance - relationships are messed up where there are power imbalances. The bigger the age gap the more likely it is you'll find a power imbalance, but 'likely' is the key word, every relationship is different. Look for a power imbalance and if you don't find one there's nothing wrong with the age gap, however big it is (as long as you're both adults).

hard. human beings replace - your pal is asking love with a bloke, and that i'm afraid that does no longer comprise you. It sounds like it truly is time so that you'll flow on too. Why shouldn't she now desire a courting, inspite of if she did not desire one formerly? you may want to face info - issues are replacing - the suited ingredient you may do is step out of her way, and enable her stay her existence as she needs to. merely be there for her if issues do no longer workout routine. in the period in-between i imagine it truly is time you start up staring at stepping into your human being position quickly. Do you artwork? possibly that is a good plan...

I think it's a bit weird if you go out with someone old enough to be your dad. Otherwise, I think a gap is ok. Personally, though, I wouldn't go out with someone who was more than about 5 yrs older than me.

I don't feel age matters, its how you get along with that person. Although men of this age tend to be very stuck in their ways and opinions. Sometimes if you are a lot younger then them they can influence you to be older than you are. However if you are not a person that is easily led there shouldn't be any problems

no i'm 40 and would'nt go out with a 45yr old.I like a little younger than me. a 10yr gap is far enough as long as they are adults not teenagers. 20+.

It depends how old you are? And how old you both are mentally!!
I've been out with someone 9 years older - it didn't work. He eventually bored me and i felt like i was a trophy for him to show off to his friends.
Now i'm with someone 8 years younger and its great - three years later we're still going strong.

Sure....why not. I am 38 and the last guy i went out with was 51.
Infact, after dating 2 older men, I wont go back to dating men my own age........
