Well, I found something on the internet about a 19 month old sleepwalking. I think its pretty common after age 2.

when my daughter was 3yrs old she started sleepwalking but stopped when she was 5, my son started doing it at 5yrs old,he is nearly 7 now and still goes on a wander 2-3 times a night, the best thing to do is dont wake him, just turn him around and guide him back to bed,so as not to scare/wake him,my son never remembers the next morning.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. My daughter just turned 3 and she sleepwalks too. As did her father, and myself, its hereditary apparently.
Just try to notice when he does it the most. High stress, not getting enough sleep, major life changes, had a bad day, etc.. those can all be triggers. Also, try to limit his excitement close to bed time, pay close attn to anything he could be watching on TV or seeing in books that could cause vivid dreaming. Sometimes they may try to act out things they seen just before bed time. Most of the time they grow out of it. I wouldn't worry unless it gets to the point of him possibly getting hurt. I've even got the child proof doors so my daughter can't get out of her room without me, just in case. Good luck!

My daughter doesn't do it, but I have herd stories of sleepwalking in young children. I would ask the doctor and let him/her know about it.

When my sister was about 8 she sometimes would get out of bed, walk past my parents watching TV in the family room, out the door and get in the car. When we woke her she said she was going to school. We felt it was stress related.

Yes, kids of all ages can, but unless sleeping over somewhere, a two year old should still be in a crib where they can't get out.

my younger daughter did it a lot as a child, once going down to the kitchen and coming back up carrying a plate and spoon while deeply asleep. it stopped by the time she was teenaged and she is now in her 30's with no recurrence.
