I am not trying to convince anyone toward Christianity or the Bible. I just wanted to pose something thought-provoking.

It is in regard to the story of Abraham who was just a common man recorded in the Bible to have lived about 5,000 years ago. However, he was different from other men, because he thought that he was talking to this invisible being, that he called God. And actually out of these conversations he believed that God promised him that his children would be numbered as many as the stars above.

Today, half of the population on the planet, 3 billion people, are either, Jewish, Christian or Muslim, who all have ties, either hereditarily or spiritually with this one man.

What are the odds of that occurring?

Yes, in chapter 15:5 God said to Abraham that his seed shall be as the number of the Stars and then in Chapter 22:17 God said again that He will multiply his seed as the number of the Stars and as the sand on the shore.
Most Biblical Scholars believe that the Stars refer to the sons of Abraham by faith and the sand refers to the sons of Abraham by physical descent.
I am sure the odds of this happening without God's intervention are astronomical.
Of course, the odds of Abraham and Sarah having a child past the child bearing age are also out of this world impossible.

Well, the bible is a best seller. Lots of popular fiction is. Especially fiction set in a historic place or time. Sorry, I'm not up on the family tree of the entire planet going back 5,000 years. Coincidences are a big part of life. They happen all the time and everyone interprets them differently. As for the odds, that's more of a math question, isn't it?

a hundred%. It befell. And, via the way: "Atheists regularly carry that a perception in god demands turning a blind eye to all data, technological awareness and reason, yet what are the percentages of existence originating from non existence, as calculated via scientists themselves?" NO. you're an ignorant individual. An atheist says, that due on your loss of evidence of the life OF GOD the default place is NON life. Being an atheist has no longer something TO DO with evolution, the introduction of existence, activities rankings, the beginning up of the universe, or what number vibrators one has of their drawer. And in basic terms an IGNORANT MORON does not know that. an enormously final theory on your REFERENCE: Coppedge, James, F. 1973. Evolution: feasible or impossible? is the same: James Fletcher Coppedge, founding father of the Rangers and Christian Commandos and the Valley Cathedral young human beings middle. no longer a sturdy source on Evolution.

Makes sense to worship something that you can see than something no-one has ever seen or can prove! Seeing is believing! I find people who talk to invisible 'beings' rather strange. Take a look whats happening around the world and then decide if there are gods or not. If there are they are not very helpful. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

There is no evidence to support the claim that Abraham existed, so your assumption is flawed to begin with.

There are over 34,000 different Christian cults, not counting different Muslim & Jewish cults.

The claim that they are all following a single religion or belief lacks foundation.

Now, will you take the God challenge?

The guy above me is an idiot. Self fulfilling prophesy? That only works for yourself. How do you explan thousands of people 5000+years after your dead fulfilling prophesy? That is not one guy making it happen though his personal belief. Muslims should'nt be in this category, it should only be the Jews and Christian. muslims don't believe in the same God of the Jews and Christianity. They believe in a false god called allah, the god of the moon. THat is why you see the crescent moon on arab flags. It's the symbol of allah. allah is a false god and does not exist. mohammed was not a prophet, he was a liar and a pedophile. He wrote the quran, the book of lies, alone and by himself. All his information is wrong in the book. Whereas the Bible was written over 2000 years, using 44 writers and in 66 books. The Bible holds together as a unified work. It is the only word of God, the true God. Repent muslims for your sins against the One and Only God. Your god is the devil who has turned you against the real God. mohammed was not a prophet and he is dead. Dead and in hell. Do not be like that pig, that dog of a pig.

Hmmm... 3 billion followers of the Abrahamic death cults of desert monotheism.

200 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy. 20 trillion-billion stars in the VISIBLE universe.

3 billion = 20 trillion-billion...

I don't think so. Did you pass arithmetic in grade school?

Apparently around 50 percent, if you say that half the planetary population is connected to this one man.

Well, I am a respectful non-theist, and honestly, I don't see anything thought-provoking in your words.

Talk to agnostics instead :-)
