Well, I'm not a Christian, but I wouldn't say they are blind. I am Atheist, and I KNOW there's a lot of Christians out there that would pray for me and that kind of offends me, but,,,,off topic.
The way ANYONE, in my opinion, approaches religion and relates it to their life has everything to do with how they use it in their daily lives, how they were brought up (sometimes), etc. There are Christians that are just kind people trying to do good in the world, they don't knock you over the head with the bible. Their religion is a personal, spiritual thing and they have faith. There are those that CALL THEMSELVES Christians but live very "sinful" lives, because they think oh well, I'll ask for forgiveness and I'm covered. Kind of like credit card insurance. Then there are those nut bags that preach god, repentance and the end of the world all day long.
Not all Christians are blind. I think people that fly planes into buildings may need some glasses though.

There is only one group of people in the Bible that have been blinded and that was the Nation of Israel. The reason why they were blinded was the fact that they rejected the Lord Jesus Christ and what He done on the cross. He died for our sins, He was buried and He rose again the third day for our justification. Have you rejected Him? Maybe you are the one that is blind. Romans 11: 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Why do you say "blind". Not only can a Christian see the things around them, but can also see the hidden things that many never will. They see God in his creation, and in life. They have knowledge to a path of peace, though many unbelievers can not simply find that same path. Who is blind?
Unbelief is rooted in rebellion. The unbeliever simply can see the truth for what it is. Because they can not see it. God grants that sight. The Bible says God is a Spirit. Christians have learned to see with more than just their eyes.

Christians are not blind. They rather have the truth. Others who don't accept the truth and are pessimistic or even closed-minded about it are the real blind ones.

Are partially blind to see only Christians. All are equally blind. Islam first, then Christians, then Hindus, then Jews, Buddhists and so on........
Those who are not blind only see all those who are blind.

Because as children they are told that the Bible is a factual text and that every element of Christianity is pure, unquestionable truth. They are told this from a very young age, often from birth, by people such as their parents, who they trust with their lives. So when confronted by any argument, however logical and reasonable it may be, that conflicts with their faith they refuse to acknowledge it, instead saying something like "But the Bible says..." or "God bless you". It isn't that they're blind, they just prefer to keep their eyes closed.

Maybe because we are looking at the sun, and it never goes out. We see it as another one of God's miracles.
Why are athiests or evolutionists, so blind as to think that some primordial ooze made it and somehow sustains that one sun that everyone knows, for centuries?

i can see See and see your question what is your point? blind of who, what where and why do you want to know? we love, we hate, we hunger, we thirst, we share, we teach, we grow daily. we listen to many types of people. we except people even if we don't agree with them. not everyone is cruel. not all Christians use anger to reach the lost. not every christian judge people wrongly if they are lost. we teach and use self control and we have a long suffering of being hurt for our own beliefs. hope this help. god bless.
