Well, let me see, the pads in the feet of an Elephant isn't just to absorb impact, it is also used as a means of communication. That's why they stomp the ground, it sends an Ultra-Sonic Vibration which most other animals can't even sense, it is a warning to other nearby Elephants of immidiate danger. I think they also use it during mating. Another adaptation of elephants is their trunk. They use it to do many many tasks. It is so much more articulated with it's trunk than we are with our fingers. Their are actually 40,000 muscle groups in the trunk of an elephant, far more than in the entire human body. So articulated are their trunks that it can crush a human being by grasping it to as delicately as holding the stem of a flower without harming it. Elephants actually really due have an incredible memory, which actually exceeds our own. They can remember the exact location of an elephant graveyard and return there every year without failure. I hope I was of some help.

Huge ears, increase heat loss, also, this is a little strange, they flap to create a breeze.
This isn't a morphological adaptation but apparently elephants do have a good memory for journies. They remember pathways taken with their herd so that when the dominant female dies, and the next dominant female takes over, they still take the same paths as before to find areas of food and water.
This also isn't a morphological response, it's more behavioural. They submerge themselves in mud to condition their skin and use it to act as a sunscreen.

this sounds like my gcse test question for nxt yr! lol
well, they have a low surface area to the volume ratio. this means elephants can keep warmth longer in colder conditions, and colder longer in warmer conditions. they have large ears to capture the thumping sounds of other elephants as a form of communication, they also use their ears for fanning themselves. Large feet is needed so that less force is towards the ground (preventing from them sinking in the mud, etc) Nose is adapted so that elephants can pick up high objects for food and to make ease of drinking water. I hope this helps!!

My wife Gloria weighs 400lbs which is why I refer to her as the elephant. Believe me, she is large enough without any adaptations.
