Any time the third eyelid is obstructing the eyeball it's not good. The kitten is not feeling well. If there is discharge keeping the eye closed, use a warm cloth to clean the eye, be careful not infect both eyes with the same cloth.
I would strongly suggest a visit to your vet to have the kitten examined, with the presence of sneezing, nasal discharge, it could be upper respiratory infection which will only get worse. The vet will prescribe antibiotics appropriate for the infection and after a short time you will see an improvement in the kitten's condition.

Whenever a cat's third eyelid is showing, it means your kitty is ill. You must get the kitten to the Veterinarian ASAP.

Cats seldom show overt signs of illness (i.e. third eye showing, drooping ears, listlessness, drooping tail, etc.) until something is very wrong. It could be a simple infection that can be treated with anti-biotics.

I hope everything turns out okay for you and your little one. All the best.

As this question is now 3 days old, I hope that the cat has been to the vet and is well on the way to recovery. If not, then get moving and take it to the vet immediately. When the eyes are like that the cat is sick.

THis is called the "haw", and is usually a sign that a cat or kitten is ill. Is he doing anything differently, like not eating or drinking, or not running about as usual?? If so, he needs to see a vet, fast.
