I'm a agnostic/Universal Unitarian. I choose to follow this religion because I feel like that I need to question the world and around me and follow my own path of salvation. I was born a A.M.E. Baptist/Protestant, and I still want to believe in god a little bit but I have so many doubts about everything. But right now, I'm trying to have a tolerance for all religions and learn more about each of them and incorprate their beliefs in my lifestyle.

I'm an atheist due to the fact there is absolutely no proof to support religion. And, as I've said many times, "because" and "the book says so" are not proof of anything.

It's great that you're asking questions and keeping and open mind!

While exploring all religions don't loose sight of the fact that they all could be wrong!

Regardless, good luck - whatever you choose and PLEASE never loose your openness to hear other peoples' opinions!

I am a Gnostic. I believe it is possible to know God, to become a fitting vessel for The Light.

I have had two life-after-life experiences. In neither case was my disbelief or behavior an issue. I was loved and accepted. Since those times I have done, in my human way, my best to get back to The Light without necessarily dying.

Life here on Earth may be necessary, but it is getting very tedious and filled with pain for me. Sometimes the memory of being united with The Light is all that makes any of this worthwhile.

I am a member of an esoteric order of Freemasonry, American Co-Masonry, which admits women and men of all races, who believe in a Supreme Being. While it is not a religion, it does practice tolerance to all religions and its members try to improve life here on Earth.

Before my encounters with The Ineffable I had left Christianity and had tried Baha'i and Wicca. Now I tell folks I am Pope (beyond temporal authority in matters spiritual) of my own church and I neither want nor accept converts.

Keep questioning. And do not accept anything which is of no use.

My religion doesn't have a name. I believe in the core values and ideals given near the beginning of life. All religions share the same values and beliefs at their core because at one time probably 5000 years ago, all religions were the same one religion believing in God. These were split and became their own. None of them is always right and none of them are all wrong. I believe in morals, love, compassion, knowledge, and truth. These are the keys to a good life and to salvation of your soul. Not falsehoods created by man. I believe Jesus was real and was the son of God. I don't beleive the only way to salvation is by believing that Jesus is the only salvation. If so then pure people like the Dali Lhama are being treated very unfair.
I believe God wants us to seek knowledge, to understand and know truth. The most constant appearing words in the Bible relate to truth, understanding and knowledge. Love above all things is the most pure and powerful thing in the world. The path to salvation, I believe, is seeking love, knowledge, truth and understanding. A core belief in ALL religions. All sins come from the lack of knowledge, truth and understanding. Being afraid of what you don't understand and fighting with the belief that you know the truth.

can i be honest with you. you sound like a theologian, one who would love to study religion, all religion. maybe you should go to college for that. my husband is one. he is also a Pentecostal but also a messianic, who is a Jewish person that believes in Jesus as savior. i am a Pentecostal , but have many same beliefs as my husband. he is also a theologian. loves to study the bible in so many ways. i agree with messianic, but I'm not much into allot of ceremony which they do allot of. i don't read or speak Hebrew, i know Hebrew from college, but don't practice it like my husband and kids do. but i except what they do and understand. did you know that a messianic is the answer in revelations that Jewish people who still follow gods old testament law (not just the ten commandments. there are actually more than 10) will also finally except Jesus as savior. Messianic already do that.

I was raised Catholic. I joined my husbands church, Protestant. I have also attended the Methodist church, Lutheran church, welcomed the Jehovah Witnesses into my home and sat with them.. learned a bit from the Mormons.. etc.
I have walked the way of the Witch for many years.. and even became a Medicine Woman..
I have many labels that people have placed on me.. But should anyone wish to remember anything about me, I wish it were this..

I am a Christian. I left all else behind me, picked up my cross and follow our Lord Jesus Christ. I pray my footsteps will not stray from this path, or sit by the wayside.. and someday, I should like to see all of you there with me, in God's heaven.

I am an atheist because I have examined the possibilities and found them all to be remote if not impossible. Frankly, I believe that people's genetics are to blame for theism, so faith is neither a choice nor something that ever changes. I am unable to sense or comprehend believing in the idea of a personal god, so I disregard the idea of one.

i was born and brought up by a Catholic family, country, community, school. Basically I am Catholic. But as I grow older, I end up with more questions. And now I kinda stopped asking thinking I'll just do what I know is good and right regardless of religion. My faith will always boil down to Jesus Christ though.

Your so-called path to salvation Will;l get you no-wheres. Except to hell. If you incorporate the beliefs of all religions, you are going to be extremely confused. Then your life will be miserable. Go back to your Baptist upbringing, and enjoy life.

I'm an animist which came about after years of reading. I had been agnostic and tried the christian thing, but I couldn't buy in to that whole son-of-god thing. I read a lot of Daniel Quinn and discovered that there is no one right religion only the one that's right for you.

I'm Pagan because I had an NDE and almost died, but, when I switched religions, my NDE's stopped.

Also, I believe the stuff and feel that it is one of the most respectful and accepting religions out there, aside from, oh, say, Buddhism... more of a tie.
