Your blood type has very little affect on what your diet should be. However, it is good to maintain a higher level of iron in your diet than the average American eats. There are multiple blood conditions which necessitate specific diets, but simply your blood type does not.

Eat healthy....what else! I'm O Negative, and it requires no special diet! Why would you think it would? You are a needed donor for blood, did you know that? We can only take O Neg blood in the event we need a transfusion. So we need to help all O Neg people out there. Eat right! for your healths sake. God Bless.

A while back someone thought they could make money by writing a book about what people with different blood types should eat. In my opinion, it's hype, pure and simple. No matter what blood type a person has, they need carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Get them from a balanced diet containing whole grains, fruits, veggies, lean meats, low fat dairy products, etc.

Maybe you want to pump up the blood? Well it is my understanding that iron rich foods will make your blood "richer" if you may... so that means eating red meat, dark green leafy vegetables, like spinach, collards, especially swiss chard, beet tops, stuff like that, or you can take a iron supplement. Beware, Iron supplements can cause severe constipation and black tarry stools.

However your blood type does not dictate what foods you must eat. If you are so inclined, give your valuable universal donor blood every 52 days!.. Good luck.

Wheat and carbs are not recommended. Meat and lots of protein is supposed to be the best for O blood. There are lots of websites that can give you lists of food for each blood type. Maybe you should go to Google and type "Eat for your blood type". Good luck.

Read the book EAT RIGHT 4 YOUR TYPE by doctor Peter J D Adamo. Available on Amazon.co.uk or in bookshops. tells you a lot about the type of food you should eat. But let me warn you it might drive you mad :). Be sensible in accepting whats written on the book good luck

Your question is funny. I have O- too. I would urge you to get to a blood bank. Your blood can be used for anyone's blood type. Consider it a special gift from God, and donate. And, if you get a chance to donate your plasma as well, that is great.
As far as what to eat, well, eat whatever you like. I do. I show it, too.
Please, any chance you have, go and donate your blood. People need your blood, and you can feel special for having it. I do.

Type O is the original blood type. O for original. Original man. Cave man. Wild man. Anyway, they like meat and plants, I mean vegetables. So, you should eat meat and vegetables.
