lokoka, since wen does male prostitute mean homosexual? Im sure they have two seperate meanings because they are seperate things.

A male prostitute is someone who gets paid a fee for sex.
Homosexual is someone who is attracted to members of the same sex. (not necesarily acting on those desires).

Please. If ur gonna quote biblical references, plz quote those which are relevant.

You seem to generalize too much.

All people do not *judge* gays.

To each his own!!!

You are so right if you are homosexual I as a Christian neither are in a position to judge you nor do I want to. My name is China Doll and I'd like for you to read 1 Corinthians 6:9. When you see things for yourself sometimes it becomes more understandable. Then when you read that read 1 Corinthians 6:11 because although it talks about men lying with men being unclean, it comes right back and points out how merciful God is by saying yet that is what some of you were. This shows that even God does not judge but as you can plainly see for yourself it is in the Bible about this type of lifestyle. Should you want more information about this please feel free to contact me on here.....I hope this has helped answer your question somewhat.....

STOP RECITING VERSUS AND GIVING FALSE DATA FOLKS! You disgrace the Church, more that you know. I can answer your question for an Christian or Agnostic point of view.
Let me vent once more;
I'm just sick of reading verses on here that people pick out of the Bible. You have to read the whole chapter folks. You have to understand that the word of God, is not all the word of God. Paul wrote against it several times, yes - but the context, the context is just as important.

I am baffled at the stupidity of some of these so called "Christians." If you're going to preach, you need to get your ducks in a row. I will gladly discredit your rediculous statements based on my knowledge of Greek and Hebrew. It's like other things;

It's a sad fact that the truths of evolution are undeniable and oftentimes, Christians find it difficult to accept that it is possible that evolution is part of the creation process. World religions since the very first civilizations have created their own stories of how the world began, but it is our unfortunate disposiiton to be in such a new country founded on such secular beliefs. If you study world religions previous to Christ, you will be amazed at the stories found within their faith...they will look familiar. The Bible, being translated upon the request of King James brought about a new order of interpretation. As we do today, the laws, social expectations, were translated to fit the need of the time. In the same section that Paul speaks against homosexuality, he also mentions that women she not speak out in church, and many other abominations that nobody wants to discuss. A heterosexual minister with the Episcopal Church presented an awesome sermon breaking down the biblical passages that pertain to homosexuality, by this minister going over the chapter instead of reciting the verses, the bigger picture was seen by the congregation.
There are tribes in Africa where the male must have a wife and a male companion. Native Americans honored homosexuals and looked at them as special healers and/or allowed them to work beside the women in their daily duties. Ancient Rome, the nobles had young man servants who done a little more than served coffee.
Our ignorant culture hides many truths and understandings. You have to ask yourself, why do the most educated folks, especially those of the hard sciences, choose not to believe in God. Things to consider.
I will be glad to forward the sermon fore mentioned if anyone would like to read it. charlesboster@yahoo.com OR if you have a rebuttal against my statement. Let me warn you before I attained my doctorate in sociology, I did attend seminary - I have a sorted past, but I know my business...I can assure you of that.
Kind Regards, CB

I dont judge well then agian maybe I do.. I leave gays alone no harsh trash talk to them.. Not yet anyways. I do not agree what they are doing for I beileve God created adam and eve for a reason. if he wanted us with the same sex he would have created a adam and steve . and a eve and amanda.. lets just say everyone turned gay.. the population would come to an end an eventually all the human race would die off as thier would be no children born. God gave woman the right to bear a child .. now to women cant do that ... and on the other hand two men cant do that. so if we were supposed to be with same sex there would be no human race .. a little logic and the bible explain alot..
I do have probelms with them when I have to send my kids to school and they have to witness 4 high school kids kissing and hugging on each other.. all male.. keep in mind i said kids.. they try to say they are born this way.. i mean really do people expect us to beileve that god would have created them to love the same sex as they are.. no.. god does things for reason and true we do not understand everything he does but god created us and our race so he would want that to continue.. if and when he decides he doesnt want it to continue he will do something about it that we will have no control over. and honestly i dont think he has one hand in this love the same sex act.. devil on the other hand might.. I still think it goes back to alot of bad parenting and peer pressure , society today, the television shows , all of that combined. I for one have taught my kids it is wrong . and they understand all the concepts . .I live in a very small town only 2000 and for my jr. high daughter to have to see 4 guys kissing and grabbing each other in high school really unnerves me. I personally dont want my child to see such acts. I say if they are going to be that way then so be it it is thier decision after all but cant they stop that out in public.. save the groping and kissing for private places.. just hanging out and talking isnt so bad its the gross details of it.

Jesus said to love the sinner, not the sin. And I believe if we judge someone, we must first have a clean slate of our own. Otherwise it would be like the pot calling the kettle black. I know scripturally speaking Homosexuality is an abomination against God but I believe He loves you anyway and prays for you to leave the lifestyle behind that He abhors. I also know people would not be able to judge a homosexual if they did not scream it out loud, either by words or actions. You do not see hterosexual couples screaming....Hey, I sleep with my husband. or We do it missionary style in my house. No one should know or care what you do in your own bedroom. Don't trot it out and air it on a line if you do not wish people to see it and judge it. For some it is like waving a red flag in front of a bull and then questioning why the bull attacks.

Look, being gay is a sin...but so is drinking and swearing and gossiping and all kinds of stuff that I (out of my own personal weakness, don't any of y'all dare judge me for it) do on a regular basis. In God's eyes, the only sin that is greater than the other is blasphemy. Therefore, you being gay in no way makes you a worse person than me or anyone else that says they're a Christian. It isn't my job to judge you and tell you that you're going to Hell for your lifestyle, that is a matter for you, God, and no one else. I believe you can be a Christian and be gay, the same way that you can be a Christian and an alcoholic, or a Christian and any other kind of sinner (which we ALL are, everyone has their something that they struggle with). God knows what's in your heart, and that's truly all that matters.

As a born again Christian, I personally don't judge gays. That's not my place. Gays are just trying to do what I've done. Find a life partner, start a family, establish a career, build a life. I have a bigger problem with heterosexuals that are child molestors and rapists. Not everyone is going to like you. Oh well. Move on and do what's right for you. But I will tell you this, it is a sin in the eyes of the Lord. Of course, as a heterosexual, I've sinned as well. We all do. But the Lord detests homosexuality. He doesn't detest you, just your actions.

I also do not understand the whole bible thing and gay people. I am bi and I get told a lot that I will go to hell, but if God loves everyone then he also loves gay people. I just don't see what is so sinful about it. I think that most people just don't have open minds when it comes to things that are different from what they believe in.

I do not judge anyone. I accept people & all people wholeheartedly. I simply don't understand why it is so hard for the nay-sayers to accept or admit that God created most gay people the way they are. I know that there are many for whom this was a conscious choice. But there are so many who were born this way & have acted on it or are still struggling with it. It makes me so angry to see that the same people who look at you & tell you that God does not make mistakes, fail to accept that this was God's design when someone is gay. I have grown up with guys who from childhood anyone can see what they would become. It was there from the beginning the way they walked, talked, behaved. They did not learn this, for them it was natural. This is who they were bon to become.

It's easy to say that what you judge will happen to you, but in the bible it also says that homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord. In my opion, that means that the sin itself is wrong. I don't judge the person, just the sin. Kind of the same as love the sinner, hate the sin. Just because you are gay doesn't mean you are a bad person, it's your actions I don't like. I have gay friends, and I enjoy getting together with them. They are, for the most part, very openminded and I like to hear their theories on things. We have just agreed to disagree on their lifestyle and we keep that out of our conversation.

I don't really think I am judging anyone, but maybe I am. I don't understand it when someone is with their same sex and I don't ever paln on being with my own sex, but I don't like totally disrespect them, I don't try to dis respect them either. I have to admit, I am a little uncomfortable being around them, more the girls than the guys though, since I am a girl. I talked a lot with a bi- sexual guy at work, and then I have one friend who is bi-sexual which I didn't know till recently and it does make it a little awkward, I don't know why since I have hknown her since 92. I had a friend since beginning of school, and didnt' know she was bi-sexual till after high school, but I'm not uncomfortable around her. Then I also use to hang out with this girl and one night, we were drinking and we went to a bar, she turned around and said she wouldn't mind f*ck*ng me and thank god we were drinking because I was able to shrug it off. So, I don't know, I guess it just depends on the person and all. I do feel that everybody deserves to be happy with someone.
