bad way of doing it...all you do with something like that is sink to their level and incite people (which is against the service's rules). it does not prove any points to the people you are possibly trying to reach but merely reinforces the "us versus them" mentality. don't know what your last post was, not bothering to go find out, because i consider all questions that make inflammatory comments to be not worth my time, no matter what side of the fence. please condsider using logical non-inflammatory examples when trying to prove an issue--studies show people listen more and learn better when they are not on the defensive....

I used to work for a caterer. I dished out fish. I HATE fish. So, no, I can't take fish.

Also. when folks come to stay with me, I like to buy things that I know they like to eat. Canned salmon. for example. I can DISH it out easily, but I HATE canned salmon.

As far as the idiom goes, I have NO IDEA to which "off-the-wall" statement you are referring. Perhaps you could link to that question?

Otherwise, you're stuck with my foody examples.
