Hi guys,

I was wondering if the Hyundai Elantra is a reliable car.

I am talking about the models between 2003~2006.

Can you share your experiences?

Friend works at a car lot where one was traded in... they used it as a 'Lot Car' (used for trips to auctions, errands, getting parts / titles / etc and even driven home many times) for MONTHS and he loved it. Ice cold air, excellent gas milage, no mechanical problems. It was actually bought while still being used as a lot car and wasn't even detailed. So by HIS description, yes, they are a good car.

Yes, Hyundai makes a very good car. The Korean people take a tremendous amount of pride in everything they do. I would recommend Hyundai to anyone!!

good luck

they are good for a couple years but I don't think a good car for long term. They not built to last. I have a Dodge Ram with 210,500 miles still runs like new

No they are not...just look in the paper at the resale values...totally a waste of good money!

From experience, you can get a Honda for much better value, and at a lower cost...

You get what you pay for and those are low cost cars.
