get a perscription for slow

I suppose the easiest thing for your doctor to prescribe would be more speed. Amphetamines are some of the most common prescription drugs, and if you had a scrip then your addiction would be legal and socially acceptable (meaning profitable for a large corporation). Other than that it's a battle of will. Boredom is your enemy! Be strong, stay active.

There is nothing your doctor can prescribe to specifically end your addiction to amphetamines. He can, however, refer you to an inpatient detox and/or rehab clinic. I suggest you go check one out. The meth epidemic in America is out of control! Studies also show that abuse of stimulant drugs (or even using one time) can cause severe mental disorders such as schizophrenia.

Your doctor CAN prescribe anti-depressants which will help you overcome what is know as "post acute withdrawal syndrome" - something you will experience from as early as 2 weeks of sobriety and lasting anywhere from 6-24 months.

Seek professional help before you ruin your brain, your teeth and your life!

prescribe? no
go to a drug addiction counseling center, your doctor can help you get in touch with one, but as far as giving you a pill that will magically cure you? not a chance
