he is the most annoying person ever...always thinking he is better than everyone else. he is one of those people who if you say something he will always have a story about when he used to do it or teach it. he thinks he can control me and tells me what to do but i just b i t c h at him. they have been together for 2 years and my mom is really happy...but seriously i have had enough. i only like him because he is really rich and always takes us out to dinner...i know thats mean but its the truth. he is overly nice and helping too...like for everthing he is like 'oh i can do that for you' blah blah....its just like give it up already. i dont know what to do, my mom knows i hate him, but she doesn't do anything about it. what should i do?

You may not always like the people your mom will go out with, however it seems you like his money enough. What does that say about you. You are probably getting to be an age where you should soon be able to move out. If you mom is happy, and you are not being physically abused, purchase a pair of ear plugs and when the boyfriend speaks, just nod your head like a duck. You should be glad that your mom is not seeing someone who is mean and nasty and has a criminal record a mile long. If the situation is not to your liking, one day you will get your own boyfriend, that will not be to your mother's liking and do what you want , regardless. Try to walk a mile in your mother's shoes before you judge them.

If your only prob with him is that he is annoying, then you should just get over it. As for thinking he is better than everyone else... well all he did was join the male race. It seems to mean that all he is trying to do is impress and protect you. If he makes your mother happy and he has never physically or emotionally abused you, your mother, or any other then grow up and accept him. Stop trying to find ways to make him go away, and try and find the things you do like in him.

Hey User!
Firstly you complain that he is nice to you and your mom. And you are an ingrate. What you should do, you selfish little twit, is to stick by your "feelings" and refuse to accept anything from him including dinners! But you are a user.
And why would you think that your mom should do something? For you? It is her happiness we are talking about , not yours. You should be happy that she has found someone....but your come first.
You are quite immature and selfish.
Grow up. The world doesn't revolve around you.

sorry to say but you can do nothing its not your choice who your mom sees and if she has been seeing him for 2 years then just give in and deal when he is over go to your room or go hang out with your Friends and if you cant and he starts to do some thing that bothers you tell him calmly and politely its all you can do but show respect to him and will to you and just remember your mom is happy and that is what matters

You can't do anything. He is your mother's boyfriend, not yours. Imagine if you had a boyfriend that your mom didn't like. You wouldn't stop dating him for her, would you? Your mother needs someone in her life and she deserves that. If you don't like the guy, that's your problem. My mother is dating a guy that I can't stand, but I'm happy that my mom is happy. As long as he's not doing anything to hurt your mom, you should just stay out of it. But, I would advise you to keep spending his money though!

if your mom is happy and the guy has money and nice, let it be.and telling you what to do is being part of a family, at least he's trying to be a family my ex b/f wouldn't even talk to the kids or do anything with them. be happy for your mom and be thankful he includes you in things.treat him with respect and he will do the same. it could be worse at least your not being abused.

Even our own family members can be that way. If he makes your mom happy, then just keep dealing with it. You won't be living with your mom forever, so just keep making peace. Also, sounds like he's got some good qualities too.

If you think he really love your mother then be nice to him. Just give him a chance and I think you will surely like him.
