Just the opposite. The original God of the old testament was probably modeled after the draconian rulers of the day. Later, in the New Testament, they remolded that god into a softer version, but still kept much of the vengeful aspects.

With respect to you, they are interesting musings but you should order your thoughts and read up on the subject to avoid inaccuracies.
For Christianity as a slave morality see Nietzche's "the antichrist".
The Jewish expectation was for an anointed king (messiah ), an new king of David's line who would free them from hateful domination by Rome. This was decidedly political and military.
The Zealots were one such group. The Jesus movement inverted the whole idea of liberation and kingship making it a spiritual state. The whole story, the gospel, are an inversion of existing social order - Jesus was seen as a bastard son from the periphery, he hung around with those considered scumbags of the day - prostitutes, tax collectors (these were thieving bastards because they paid the very unpopular roman tax and then went to get money from the people while making as much as possible in the process), gentiles and the sick(impure and marginalized ). Furthermore he was crucified, a form of death reserved from the lowest of the low. Jesus, if he existed, may have wanted only to reform Jewish religious practice. Mirroring the ideology, the plan of the temple , the centre of Jewish religious life, was a system of concentric circles, the spiritual and secular power [very connected] radiated from the centre of the circle to the periphery: inner circle the holiest of holies and the high priest, next circle other priests, next circle men, etc... all the way out down the food chain to women, the sick (illness was seen as divine retribution). Jesus took his message to precisely to those on the outside and proclaimed that these people were holy. This resembles something like a grassroots anarchist movement - love, sexual equality, shared meal with people of all classes. We could do a lot worse than that! It's easy to rag on Christianity and assume that it was always a top down movement, it was the opposite.
Ironic then that Christianity became the religion of the Roman empire, a system which had a rather similiar hierarchical structure to the Jewish one Christianity was subverting.
Interesting also that the Roman system pride, dominance, power etc were virtues for the free man, whereas meekness and mildness and humility were slave virtues.

Yes, Jesus is and always has been a fraud. He was created as a way to manipulate the people of Rome to further enlarge the empire. He was nothing more than some make believe fool. Do you have any belief in him however? If you do not then I believe I may have something for you to do, some help. If you wish to further contact, use my secondary address. archusdremodian@yahoo.com
I am glad you have reached an important point. We may have much to look forward to.

No Jesus is not a fraud. God's kingdom is not on this earth it is in Heaven - he is not killing this world due to his word - the killing going on has nothing to do with God except it goes against his teachings. You REALLY need to read the Bible for yourself!@

Are you asking the question because you have an open mind to the possibility the Christ is real and the true son of God or are you asking because you have chosen to refuse God and you don't want to be the only one?

Oh man! Are you ever out to lunch!!!! Read the Bible. As the Bible says: "A fool has said in his heart, there is no God." God's kingdom is not of this world. It is the hearts of men and women who have accepted Him. Jesus said that "My kingdom is not of this world."

Jesus was not God. He spoke often of his Father who was still
in heaven while He was on Earth. Jesus was called the Christ, because He told us all of us have a spirit within, and we are all
Gods children. Christ is not a person or a religion. It is the
embodiment of the spirits, that come from our Creators own
body.

there is a freedom of religion nd whether or not GOD is sumthin made up by da government it is pplz choice 2 serve who they wish. personaly i dont believe GOD is just sum1 dat is made up i believe he is real. nd i would lyk 2 point out dat da WORD of GOD is not tryin 2 kill nythin but rather save it. If u took alil time 2 read da bible u would realize dat jesus came 2 4give us of our sins nd 2 allow us a way into heaven just cuz u dont want 2 believe in GOD dat doesnt mean other people shouldnt. nd by da way if u would take a second u would see dat on da back of our money it sayz "In GOD we trust" it also sayz in da pledge of alligence "One nation under GOD" so if u wanna argue bout whether GOD is real or not u r gonna have 2 argue wit our fore fathers along wit many ppl in da united states, da government included

Jesus is God. He is the creator. The romans refused him first because Jesus teachings are against what they stand for "the romans" that time.
So the answer is no he is the true God
