Okay, I posted earlier that I have some sort of rash or something that started a little over 12 hours ago on my upper chest and back, and has spread during that time.
It itches a little, but only when I touch it, or in a sudden jolt of pain.
It looks like razer burn, to be prefectly honest, but I don't shave my stomach or backside, nor do I shave my biceps and most of the parts this 'rash' has been showing up on.
It's a little annoying, and I'm starting to get worried.

I live in alaska, and it's been raining the past few days.

Shingles is only on one side of the body, I have it all through out my chest-stomach, back, thighs, and arms and still spreading.

No new detergents.
Haven't borrowed any t-shirts either, thanks though

go see a doctor! what if it's the flesh-eating bacteria? those can spread rapidly (<24 hrs)...not too many other things could do that.

yeah it could be a heat rash or might be an allergic reaction.

Sounds like the only areas that you have the rash are the areas that your t-shirt (whatever you were wearing) touches. Have you used a different kind of laundry soap or fabric softner? Or have you borrowed a friend shirt?

Sometimes we develop an allergy to the perfumes and dyes in laundry detergents. Try using a different laundry detergent one without perfumes and dyes. And if the itching is to much to take, then I would use Benadryl.

Of course if it doesn't go away or starts to spread I would go to the Dr.

it could be heat rash...put cold packs
or allergic reaction.... take antihistamines like benadryl
or contact dermatitis... wash with warm water, then dry, put calamyn lotion or cornstarch... oatmeal wash could also relieve itchiness...

best thing to do.... consult your doctor
