Is it true that if you put food away in the fridge while its still hot or warm it will go bad? I boiled some chicken yesterday and put it in the fridge while it was hot.Should i throw it out?

No. You actually did it the correct way. You should not let your hot foods come to room temperature before chilling and vice versa. That is how bacteria is bred. Putting your hot foods into the fridge is how to keep the bacteria from spreading, because they thrive in the room temperatures.

OK There is a danger zone for foods and that is between 41 degrees and 150 ----- any foods left in that danger zone is not good!

If you are putting away a hot chicken breast in the fridge not a problem! If you are putting a large pot of stew away you can begin the cooling process by setting the pot in a cold water bath before putting into the fridge!

chicken will stay good if kept in the fridge for about 2 days tops. then throw it out, or else u could get sick. most leftovers only keep for a couple days, unless u freeze it.
