I read this somewhere, is it true? Is it worth working out if so?

There is some truth to this. The body does not produce as much of some of the key hormones associated with muscle growth starting around that age ie:testosterone, growth hormone, dehydroepiandrosterone, insulin and even IGF 1.You can still see a significant change though as long as you eat right and exercise regularly.Thing like DHEA can be supplemented legally and purchased in most stores.Even the work outs and post work out supplementation can raise the level of many of these hormones.Don't believe everything that you read.Just stick to clinical research articles.

Barry Bonds would probably tell you "no".But,if you mean the natural
way,yes it becomes harder as you age. It's not impossible to gain muscle
after 25.It takes a lot of dedication,eating right,and hard work.It doesn't
mean strictly gyms and free-weights either.Look for the right type of
job that puts a demand on your body. You can't just sit at a desk or drive
a truck all day and expect results.
