It's humanity who wants to pass the buck onto God and have some entity magically take care of everything, instead of taking responsibility for ourselves and our own actions.

God didn't make Jesus do anything. Jesus had a choice not to save the world. When he was tempted by the devil, he could have chosen to sell his soul to the devil. When he prayed in the garden at Gethsemane, he was not wholly committed to being crucified. Sometimes his will was "in danger of" not lining up with his father's. Ultimately he did line up with his father and fulfill the prophecy, but he was free to choose to do something different.
God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit not only really want to deal with humanity but they are dealing with humanity.
In the Old Testament, God has a covenant with his people. When he sent his Son to earth, the old covenant was nulled and a new covenant took its place. This is not passing the buck, dude. This is offering salvation (N.T.) instead of law (O.T.). How do you see a free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ as buck passing? How do you see it as not dealing with humanity?
As for the Paraclete, or Holy Spirit, this is not buck passing either. This is sending an invisible God that manifests in our hearts. That is, God is living inside of us via the Paraclete. The Paraclete guides us. How is this a refusal to deal with humanity?
You might be better served to take a Christian theology class. It will clear up your profound misunderstandings of basic points of theology, such as the trinity and God's relationship with humankind.

Jesus is the mediator for us to God. God is still there watching over us knowing the true desires of our heart: whether we will love and follow him or not.

Ancient christian philosophy, starting with Paul, himself, avers that humans will never be good enough. I believe your question comes from the teachings that have arisen from this mistaken philosophy.
