Love
Jesus was wise! He was God..
The kind of love he was reffering to was the one of self-sacrifice.. The most powerful form of Love
Since God is Love himself he sent his Only son for us in order to change the law and give us a chance to be with God after Death.. Imagine a Powerful King , God of the Jews who was always feared and respected by them to comes as a humble man, noone to recognise him as he was just appearing Human teaching powerful stuff about the nature of God.. Imagine how the jews felt when he said he was the Son of God!
The Jews were very strict with matters of God, they thought the man was crazy! Imagine being their Creator and having to put up with this as a man with only physical power of words. This is Love! To leave your glory behind and sacrifice yourself for the people you love..
God loved everyone, God made the supreme sacrifice. That is why jesus said "love as i have loved you" .. It is impossible you may think.. But Jesus knew what he was talking about
Love is not about loving a woman.. That is not the kind of Love God has. Loving a woman is just admiration or affection towards her.. It is not real love. And what you here every day " i would die for you" " i love him'her so much" " ican't sleep" " i can't eat" etc is not that kind of love ... It is not love at all
Love has no level.. A woman who says she loves, will surely eat after a week and surely be able to sleep after 2 days of her crash meaning the feeling has fainted. Love doesn't faint it is what it is.. One level of power, a constant energy field, balanced. Just like God, and the universe which was created by that field of energy.. The energy blast for the creation of the universe came from within God and so did Jesus. He is what you See
So love can not be understood by us common people. Love offers a pathway to God. Surely many men and women "loved " their man or wife, friends "loved" each other but that is not what Jesus is asking.. That is not love, it is just "liking" or admiration of affection.. U like a person more than the other
Love is not a feeling.. It is ACTION. You cannot feel it unless you act on it.. An action of Love is Love.. we say God loves us.. The immediate question is how? the answer explains His Love and not the statement "He did this and this..." There you see love
And here is another daily example to tell you how far we are from experiencing the true meaning of Love.. Everyday you hear people say " Love hurts", they even make songs out of this statement
I'll leave you with this: How can Love, which is beautiful and kind cause pain and suffering? ( hint= what we feel is not love, but selfish means to feed our flesh and ego)

I believe love is different in meaning for each person. Love has the deepest meaning that most people can't understand. When you love, it means you are willing to basically suffer hell for the sake of someone. It means you would go through anything for someone and still be by their side. Through fights, arguements, tragedies, hate and disgust between yourself and anyone else... you still stay by their side. Love is real, it's just so hard to find that most people won't believe it. When you find what it is, you won't believe it and you won't understand it. I found it in my soulmate.
Love does not break... but it will bend at times.
Jesus felt sorry for people, for the world. He loved people with such purity yet such angst. It's hard to explain what it means in those terms but I do know how he felt.
Simply love is forever and it won't break. Love is stronger than any belief, religion, lie or power. God said that he is love and that is why love is the most powerful thing in the universe. A willingness to suffer for the sake of those you love is what love is. God watched those he created destroy themselves. Jesus died for his people. A mother will die for her child and stand by them even in the face of death. You can't really understand until the day you find it, or it finds you. The answer is out there if you seek it. Part of our reason for living is to seek love and to find its reason.

Need Love;only does so it can recive. It only shows love and affection for something in return,it serves only to be served.Selfish love.
Gift love;doesn't concern itself with value of the person being loved. It doesn't look for something in return as a selfish reward. It doesn't want recognition, and it doesn't expect performance.

"Love one another as I have loved you" means that Christ gave up his life for them. He served them (washed their feet) He taught them (the Beatitudes, for one) He fed them (the Miracle of the Fish and Loaves of Bread) He did a myriad of things we don't even know about because the book it was written in is not big enough to hold it.
True love, is a person that shows that love. Your mother that hugs you and feeds you and clothes you, She is Love Your father who sweats and sheds blood so that you can have food on the table and a roof over your head. He is Love. Even when they discipline you to show you manners, they are Love.

Love to G-d is the complete submission to him. Love for people is, without hesitation, putting them first.
