Ask to have your pictures on a CD the next time you get the film develop. You will then have the digital copy of your photos, and you can view them on your computer, manipulate photos, and e-mail them to people.

If you have already printed the photos from a shop, scan the photographs in jpg or pdf format. Then you will be able to download the jpg or pdf images in the computer. You can scan the negatives also if you have the facility in the scanner.

Either scan the desired photo's or during the developing have a CD burned.

you can order a photo cd when you get your prints picked up or you can scan then in with a scanner which is a small investment if you plan on quite frequently using it's capabilities
