Religions do influence each other. Christianity was built upon numerous prior religions.
Buddhism was created 5 or 6 centuries before Jesus lived.

Buddhism was known in Europe from the 3rd century BC.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhism_in_Europe
The above source includes the quote, "Some scholars believe that even Jesus Christ was influenced by certain principles (of Buddhism)"
Each religion changes as values and facts about the world develop. You can argue if god is real or not but religion itself is clearly man made and adjusts to the times.
You should study the history of religions. It is very interesting.

Are you asking if some people believe this? I imagine there are some people who believe it. I doubt it myself, because the areas where these religions began were pretty far apart, and they weren't able to hop on a plane....LOL.
But in a metaphysical sense... I would say that I believe the One God, BY WHATEVER NAME CALLED.... has created all religions. So, no Jesus wasn't influenced by Buddhism... but God allowed Buddhism to sprout just the same way He allowed Christianity... so that all peoples will know, love and serve God, and in so doing, be less human, less evil, and more godly, more good. The basic values of goodness that we find in all earthly religions.... all come from the source of all Goodness.
That's the way I see it.

Jesus could have been Buddha reincarnated. Look at the similarities. They both reformed an older religion, and moved the path in a new direction!
Buddhism wasn't influenced by Jesus because Siddhartha Gautama was born about 500 years before Jesus.

certain. i trust that Jesus became prompted through Buddhism and Jesus probably had an impact on Buddhism as well. there's a era of time for the duration of Jesus' existence, in his late kids and twenty's, not recorded through Christian or Jewish heritage. there is also a historic reference from Asia and Japan as well because the Americas that strongly exhibits Jesus visited there. some documents placed him there for the duration of his lifetime and others placed him there after the time of the Crucifixion.

I doubt he ever heard of it. I'm a Buddhist. I was a Buddhist before I knew what it was called. I think the biggest difference between Buddhism and Christianity is indoctrination.

Eastern Magi came to Jesus after his birth. Ignoring the literal details of the Bible after centuries of word of mouth stories and translations (even the names of people changed over time), what type of Magi would travel so far to bring gifts for another religions Messiah? Were the gifts actually so materialistic or were they more along the lines of wisdom. I've always thought they were Buddhist and contrary to the Bible figure they stuck around after their visit.

Truth is truth. Jesus said he was the Way, and the truth and the life. The Chinese Tao is called the Way.
Our Creator has always been, and always made us aware of His presence. In all ages, and in all cultures. According to their ways of understanding. They will tell you this is New Age.
There is no such thing. That is just man typically taking credit for
something he didn't do.God is the one opening our minds right now, to prepare us for some EXTREME changes!

Jesus was influenced by God. "The One whom God sent speaks the words of God, because God gives Him the Spirit fully" (John3:34). "But Jesus said, 'I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing alone. The Son does only what He sees the Father doing, because the Son does what the Father does. The Father loves the Son and shows Him all things He himself does'."

Jesus was a buddhist! Yay! I've often thought that myself.
I don't know if he was or wasn't, but our society would be a far better place if (so-called) christians and others were influenced by Buddhist teachings.
