Me and this girl have been best friends for ages. We have traveled the world to see eachother and always have a great time together. We go to the movies. We do everything together. Her Parents love me. I have made every effort known to hummanity. If we were older I would ask her to marry me!! Let me add that we r both 18. I want to be able to support her before I decide to marry her She has had several crushes and the occasional bf but none last. I love her more than anything in the world but she doesn't seem to notice. She says she loves me as a brother but I cant live with that. When I'm with her there is nothing more wonderful. I rather endure anythng then have her suffer 4 1 sc. Im tired of being the friend. I make her laugh, smile, cry etc... but she never lets me in her heart. This girl is the joy of my life but to her i am only a "friend". I've tried telling her but to no avail. Am i selfish to want more? What can i do? Am i being used? Any advice would help. Thx:)

Listen to me and listen to me now. You are being to easy. If she says she only wants a friend so be it and drop the love stuff. Don't be so available and date other people as she does. Over time she will probably realize what she had and come around because she will be curious as to if she missed something. I mean talk to her from time to time just to see how she is. If you give off self confidence she will see you in a new light. Trust me on this, it is the same for any age.

If she calls you to do things, stop answering her calls. If you call her, stop. When she calls you, tell her you have stuff to do. The more times you tell her your feelings and they are not shared by her, the deeper the hole you are put in. You can't spend time with her anymore unless YOU are willing to accept it as merely time with a friend. It would not be selfish to drop her altogether. You will talk again down the road.

no you are not being used. you are two people that have a lot in common and like to have fun. in joy it, with out the strings, she sounds like an awesome girl and those kinds of friends are very hard to come by. don't mess it up. if she wants more, she will let you know.waiting is a virtue if it was meant to be, it will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously, tell her how you feel, if she gives you that just friends thing, LET HER GO! life is not the movies, and there are plenty of other women to date and give affection to, just make sure they return it
