It's weird and happens now and then. What is he trying to do?

Here is some detail: My 2 cats have access to fresh food and water 24/7. When I stare back, he eventually leaves but if I close my eyes pretend to be sleeping, he rubs his head against my hand like he wants me to pet him. If both my hands are under the covers, he crawls under the covers and look for it so that I would pet him. He such a baby lol

Cats are nocturnal creatures, and your cat is most active at night. He simply want to play, or wants attention from you during his waking hours, as evidenced by how he tries to get you to pet him. Don't worry, if he wants a cuddle, just place your hand gently on his body when he comes to you, and you can go ahead and have a restful sleep, knowing your furry friend is sitting guard over you. My cat, Jinx, sits guard beside me when I sleep every single night too. It's very sweet, and both of you will soon develop a quiet companionship in this way.....you feel protected, and you cat feels he's getting the attention he wants from you.

My cat does similar behaviors too. As some people have said, cats are nocturnal. Your cat is up at night and wants to play or cuddle or whatever. He wants attention.

If you want to stop this behavior, I would suggest playing with your cat a lot during the day. Keep him up and get him to run around. That will wear him out. Then he'll be tired and sleep at night. You can get him more on your sleeping schedule, instead of you having to be on his!

Do you have greater beneficial than one cat? If the different cat has slobbered on the food, the cat will possibly no longer choose to consume it. Or he may be uninterested in cat food. you may desire to aim a can of tuna earlier you pass to mattress. Are you working greater and spending much less time at abode? if so you may desire to aim enjoying with your cat for a couple of minutes interior the night.

Hahaha! That happens to me sometimes or she is licking my face or laying on my face! I am not kidding. Your cat might be a nocternal and wants to play with you and is trying to waik you up. Just give him a ball to play with 1 hour before you go to bed to get his energy out and he might play for little longer or go to sleep! Good luck!

my kitty dose that too..she likes to sleep on my hands, she knows where the pats come from, they come from the hands, and they are the great supervisors always watching and thinking on what you are doing. Don't worry kitty loves you and wants to be with you without disturbing your sleep, sometimes its enough to next to you, you have a very thought full, cuddly, snuggling, happy kitty.

1) they are waiting on you to wake up and take care of them, because after all, you are their servant and should not be sleeping on the job.

2) I am convinced that my cat is secretly plotting to kill me.

3) She thinks if she stares long enough she can brainwash you into doing her bidding (I think mine has already done this to me because she is SPOILED)

4) She loves you so much that she cannot take her eyes off of you.

Admiring your beauty, and, of course, reading your mind to see what you're dreaming about. Actually I think cats enjoy the smell of our nasty breath sometimes. I mean, they eat some nasty smelling stuff!
