I am underweight apparently, according to my bmi, I am 16.8 which I knew already as Ive spent years trying to loose weight, but I got my body fat tested which I wanted to know for quite some time and it measured as 24% which is just ok, any higher would of been bad I think, I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what this means?

It means you have a very small frame and not a lot of muscle, with an ideal amount of fat. You must be tiny! I'd suggest to start working out and building up some muscle mass. It will have a lot of benefits for you in the long term. Take care : )

It just means that you aren't very fit evn though you are skinny. I would start exersising if you don't already. It will greatly lower your body fat and you will be healthy. Even though your B.M.I. will go up, you will look thinner and live longer. Try running for a few minutes daily and every few weeks increase your work out. Try running with a friend. Stop dieting.

the theory behind BMI is complet bollocks.
you are probably someone with a slender figure
BMI is calculated on basis of height and weight it doesn't take into account your shape or muscle. By the reasoning of BMI all those bodybuilders would have to be seriously overweight so.

It means sod all- if you want to know if you're healthy or not, too fat or whatever- listen to what your friends and family say about how you look. They usually know best.
