As a Phycisist i can answer your question very simply
All matter in the universe is made out of tiny atoms made from other particles
One of this particles is called an electron
Matter that we can see is just reflecting light
If ghosts really existed what is their composition ? hey can can pass through walls and tables right?
Since they can do that it means they have no interaction with our physical plane.. We cannot see them or touch them.. Nor can they do that since they do not have physical composition.. No electrons to repel other electons of the wall, causing them to go through it. Therefore there is no physical proof of their existance

I do! I have seen things and heard things in my house that have no logical explaination, and believe me I've tried! And I do believe that a dead loved one can come back.
My mother passed away in 2000. We had our issues, but I made my peace with her before she went. About 6 months later I had a "visitation". A visitation is different than a dream, because you can remember every tiny detail. I can and it's been 6 years. Anyway, in my dream/visitation, I was in the middle of a dark room. There was no sound, no light. Mom came to me dressed in a long white skirt, jacket and a turban like thing on her head. She said "forgive me". I told her I had done that a long time ago. Then I woke up. I felt differently than I had ever had after a dream. It wasn't until a few days later, that even though the woman didn't look like my mother, the jacket she was wearing was one she used to wear to church when I was very little. I used to play with the designs on it. I had forgotten that. Then I realized that that was my mother's way of showing me who she was. My life changed after that. And even though I turned my life over to God, I still think that spirits or ghosts are some part of his divine plan, and we aren't supposed to know the why's or wherefore's.

I am not sure if I believe or not. I give talks on ghosts and hauntings. Some people really believe in their encounters. I do not believe I have ever seen one, but there have been times when I feel like I need to "get the heck out" of places.
One time, when my cousin and I were teens, I stayed overnight with her in a revamped one-room schoolhouse. The door to her bedroom was open. She wanted it shut, she told me to shut it - she was closest to the door - I said she should shut it....back and forth - back and forth - we were laughing - until the heavy oak door shut itself.
This was near my birthday in late November in northern NY state. I guarantee there were no windows open and the A/C was not on.......
To this day I do not know how that door got shut.

i do. i've never seen ghosts but i can feel their presence. a while back my husband committed suicide. my kids started getting really freaked out in their room and started talking about "nightmares coming out of the closet' i have a slide lock on the top of their closet door to keep it locked so they wouldn't dig in the stuff that was in there. for a while every morning when i'd go in and wake them up the closet would be unlocked and cracked open. but my kids were not tall enough to unlock it. it still happens every once in a while, but that is why i do believe in ghosts and spirits.

There are many people who have lost loved ones and who would desperately like to be able to talk with them again or receive messages from them. This desire is understandable, but contacting the dead is not permitted by God according to the Bible. The attempt is a sin against God and results in either deception or involvement with demonic entities impersonating the dead.
I urge you, as strongly as I know how, not to dabble or get involved in anything to do with occult practices, including this one. At best, they are deceptive and fraudulent; at worst, they can involve you in matters which are satanic in origin.
"The Bible is very clear that such things are false and will only lead you away from God and His truth. In the Old Testament God commanded, 'Let no one be found among you ... who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord' (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).
"The Bible urges us to turn in faith to Christ and to seek the truth He has given us in the Bible. God's Word alone gives us spiritual truth; any other path will lead us astray. Occult practices will never tell us with finality what is beyond the grave, but because of His resurrection we can know from Christ everything we need to know.

i do believe in spirits.
I've had several run-ins.
Mostly, shadows in the darkness of my room before, during, and after my prayers.
Also, I've seen the silouhette of a man, eyes wide open, looking at me...
I don't believe in ghosts, b/c there are two kinds of spirits (in my opinion) satanic ones and heavenly ones, so that spectrum is covered.
I hope this helps!

in the 60's when my house was built a man named Stanley owned it. One evening he brought two underage girls over his house for a couple dirnks. The girls got drunk, he tied them up, raped them, and buried them in the basement under the stairs while they where still alive. He then put fresh cement over their dark grave. In 1980 my mum bought the house, in 1989 i was 5 years old (i dont remember this) i always played under the steps with my two "imaginary" friends. In 1992 my mum had some guys come and re-do the basement, they took that cement up and saw a foot bone sticking out. Turns out i didnt imagin those friends at all.
