Lots of vegetables and whole grains, some fruit, lean protein, 6 glasses of water per day, low or no fat dairy. Exercise...aerobic for all over fitness and health and to burn fat, sit ups to strengthen abdominal muscles.

I don't really think there's a diet that specifically targets your stomach. I have heard that you could eat low sodium foods and drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated, so you won't retain water. Other than that, probably mostly veggies, some whole grains, and a little lean meat will probably get rid of some excess fat.
Now, implementing that diet is another story. Also, if you want toning, you'll have to do some crunches for sure.
I like food, so I'd rather exercise several days a week than eat a healthy diet - you'll probably look best if you do both, though.
