Unless you are in a small town you will do no time. The jails are so crowded with violent offenders that the court wiill bend over backwards to keep small time crooks like you on the street. You will probably just have to pay additional fines and probation fees.

Don't HOPE to not go to jail. Plan to not go to jail. Shoplifters are the ones who drive prices up and cause businesses to fail.
Has no one ever taught you the difference between right and wrong? Either you know the difference and choose to ignore it, or someone did you a terrible disservice by not teaching you the difference.
I do hope that you do go to jail, as you REALLY need the wake-up call.

Perhaps if you are on probation, you should not be participating in such activities - or hanging out with people who DO participate in such activites... The only way to NOT go to jail is to STOP doing illegal things. You should have thought about not wanting to go to jail BEFORE you broke your probation.
If you get off and don't end up going to jail, are you REALLY going to learn your lesson? You do the crime - you do the time!

i dont sense sorry for u. ur mom would desire to have taught u extra advantageous, yet notwithstanding if she didnt, u would desire to comprehend extra advantageous! ur sufficiently previous to renowned good from incorrect, and ur sufficiently previous to attend to the implications! shoplifters are the biggest reason expenses bypass up for no longer common-working and paying purchasers. so on behalf of something of the international thank you lots. oh and in order that u comprehend, a letter of apology isnt going to alter the undeniable fact that u used the 5-finger decrease value. murderers and rapists cant purely write a letter of apology, get their expenditures dropped and unrape or unmurder their victims. if i've got been the decide, i'd throw u in juvy for 2 years, and spot how u like that life. with any luck 2 yrs for shoplifting a $20 merchandise would wake u up. became into it well worth it? next time, get a activity and pay for the crap u desire like all and sundry else has to!

Nothing worse than unprovoked petty thievery...you should be embarrassed for even asking this question.

Hey - quit committing crimes! It may take a while, but eventually the 'system' does get tired of habitual offenders and you wake up with a 10-15 year sentence and wonder how this happened. (Hint: The culmination of a lifelong series of bad decisions on your part).

It is up to your probation officer, to violate your probation, and then up to the judge.
