I'm used to getting dizzy when I stand up too fast, but lately, I'll just be sitting at work and feel like the floor drops out from under me. It goes on for about a minute and happens twice or three times a day.

Possible low blood sugar, try eating a few jelly beans and see if this helps. Or could be low blood pressure or heart related. If it is low blood pressure eat something salty. Check blood pressure before the salts to see if is is below 100 over 50. Best advice go to a doctor.

maybe you don't drink enough water (you're supposed to drink at least 2 liters of water a day) or too little sleep/food, too much stress or it could also be because of the temperature (if it's too hot)! I have the same problem (getting dizzy when I stand up too fast), and it does help to take some vitamins (magnesium)

Perhaps it is vertigo, caused by calcium bits floating around in the vestibule canals. That can be treated with circ (I think). Or maybe you have some blood pressure problem? Either way, best to go see a doctor.

Could be an inner ear infection, sinus infection, or low blood pressure. I would make an appt. to see your doctor asap. Dizziness may be a symptom of something greater, but treatable.

i think u should check ur ears
go to a E.N.T specialist
and whenever u get up from ur seat slowly get up,don't hurry ok
my dad too had the same problem
his was a condition were his eye sight was changed so he used to get dizzy and was not able to walk without support, and he used to close his eyes while walking
so check ur ears as well as ur eyes
and ur blood pressure too

The is actually common in older men. It's called vertigo. Often it can be caused by not drinking enough water. So get in some more fluids and if symptoms continue talk to your doctor.

Have your blood pressure checked out. It may be too low. Another thing it could be is dehydration. Drink lots of Gatorade and water.
But definitely have your blood pressure checked.

go see your doctor. This could be indicative of a greater problem than just feeling dizzy.
