I assume you are talking about the American Indian as there are many kinds of Indian and many practice different faiths. In the old way before they were killed off and moved out of their own homes, they believed in a great Spirit, some called it Man Above or Great Father, etc. The whole concept was that they were given the Earth to maintain and take care of it so it would be productive for all time and not to waste a thing that was given to them by God or Man Above. They had teachings of a great flood that covered the whole earth and this is where some differed in the teachings. Some had it that there was a great canoe and some even said there was a great beaver that swam down to the bottom of the waters that were there and made a huge mound that was the mountains and that was why we had them. They used everything and did not toss anything that could be used no matter how small. They were the keepers of the land and they respected it for it was the life giver. It gave life to the buffalo, the elk and deer and all living things. Many have gotten away from that thought now that they have been scattered so and polluted with all the white mans ways. Oh, what a different planet this would be if everyone would take the pride and responsibility that the Indian did when he had possession of the land. We would truly have a land to be proud of.

Main beliefs? Well ... There is only one Creator (God) no matter how many religions there are. Instead of critiqueing others, we accept everyone's right to worship as they choose ... The Great Spirit loves diversity.

We believe the breath of life is within all things, both the seen and unseen. Therefore, we are all related.

Death is not the end. We believe in Change. A change so that a life can continue.

We pray with gratitude for what we have been blessed with, but only after we acknowledge all others who are within this space that is our time ... without all the others, we would be alone.

We respct the fact that all living things are just trying to live the life Great Spirit has also given them, and we do not take liberties to disrupt them or to destroy them for any reason.

We have no agenda, other than to Stand Before Our Creator Unashamed.
