I'm far from perfect, but I've reached a stage in my life that is very happy with who I am both spiritually and emotionally. Physically ,I have no complaints and since I have many friends I consider myself very fortunate. That may sound like "perfect" to some, but I don't believe anyone (here on Earth) is perfect.Am I worthy of love for being me? I hope so. The power behind those three little words is indescribable when it is meant. Let's all just hope there can be a little more love felt for one another.
Peace....

I don't believe absolute perfection exists, but I do believe we are all made the way we are supposed to be and therefore perfect for our own intended purpose. And I do believe we are all worthy of love, regardless of our imperfections.
Some other answerers pointed out that serial killers and child molesters are not worthy of love, but I have to disagree. If anything, these people are not only worthy but in need of love. Nobody is born "evil". They become that way as a result of the love they are not given, or more importantly, the love they do not accept.

I believe that all people are worthy of love. I also believe that there is always room for improvement. I can list a lot of areas in my life where I would like to see change.

Yes. I believe everyone should be respected, liked and loved for who they are - all the good and bad included because each human carries both within them and wouldn't be a whole person without either of them.
The power of a statement of love is very strong indeed.

Everyone is worthy of being loved. And the only one capable of seeing into the "heart" of His creation is God. All I can do is try and love others as God loves me. No I am not perfect. My thoughts and actions are often not perfect.

If such statement free my self to God creation?, whit out been bound! Yes I do, believed in it. although its still hard to swallow, completely while we know we will need to die in the pursue of perfection and happiness, which can't be achieved in just one Life time? The I Love-you, statement can only be a true Statement Face value from God HIM-self, or Jesus, Mary the Mother of God, or any of the members of God Holly and heavenly Family! to be the complete acceptable truth. If not it will make me think that such statement, it has some alternated motives?

I assume that is a generic use of the word "you".
No. No one deserves anything, "just the way you are" or not. I don't think Jeffrey Dahmer is worthy of love for being himself.
I don't even know what love is. English falls short here.
The ancient Greeks had three words, all translated as "love".
1. Philos--love that is platonic and based on a sense of kinship; brotherly love.
2. Eros--love that is lustful and desirous; erotic love.
3. Agape--love that is based on no sense of selfishness or ego, simply love beyond all sense of reason and logic; unconditional love.

ever told a lie? even once? then you're a liar. ever stolen something, even a piece of gum or a dollar from a buddy? then you're a thief. ever used God or Jesus' name in vain? then you are a blasphemer. ever had lustful thoughts in your heart towards a member of the opposite sex? Jesus said that's the same as committing adultery. that's only 4 of the ten commandments. Now we can see that nobody is really that perfect are they. However, i do beleive that in spite of all of our imperfections, God still does love us and want a relationship with us. Not because we are good but because he is good.
