In the rural area where I graduated High School, one of the state troopers responded to a rural accident where a car went under a tractor trailer and all four girls where amputated. He ended up leaving the force since it was his daughter and three friends, no survivors. I think that it happens more in rural areas where there is more a volunteer force and people know each other better. I can feel for your lost, it is not easy seeing a loved one die.
