I know a person can teach this to a dog but I would have done this when he was a young puppy. It's much easier trying that out then instead of waiting till he was much older . First of all, has he shown you any signs of being aggressive toward a cat? If not, then he might get along with them, if not and he is much older it will be hard to try to do; ( but not impossible ). Ask your vet for a reference to a licensed dog trainer. Maybe that will help you?! Good Luck!!!

there's not a whole lot you can do on this one, maybe get a really big mean cat and let him show the dog who's boss, my cat kicked my lab's a** one time, and the dog doesnt' bother him anymore.

just try to keep the dog away from cats, or if that won't work, maybe the best thing is to find a home for the dog where he won't be around them, like if you have cats yourself or if your neighbors do.

good luck!!

every time he trys to go near a cat bring the cat inside get a kennel of some sort and put the cat in the kennel and put the dog next to the kennel but dont let your dog get away with barking at the kat.

I would not worry about your Dog killing Cats.
The poop that Cats leave in my Flower beds is a real problem
for me .So I would like the same laws that apply to Dog owners
that have to clean up after their Dogs applied to Cats.
