I wouldn't say my ankles are swollen, but over the months they are thickening I can almost feel it happening. I never take any medication of any kind. Any ideas?

You could possibly be retaining water. I suggest visiting your doctor just to get an exact of what it is, and they can also give you something to help that if you need it.

go to the doctor, ask for a radiology examination to see whether the problem is in the bone or the soft tissue.
then you can get the correct medication.

well we need some more info.underlying cause could be any of the following High blood pressure,diabetes. pregnant. So you see, we need more info. age weight, height. See you doctor.

Well, gaining weight will do it to you. Otherwise, I would go see a doctor.

Maybe something to do with blood circulation?
