At some point most of us realize that getting into heaven was not a test of what one believes or not. We grew out of fundamentalist Christianity.
In my travels here on yahoo answers i've talked to lots of christians who feel that yes, people can have a different path. At some point they outgrew this belief that all who dont believe in jesus go to hell.

When will the rest of them?

I respect those who believe I will go to hell, but just have to ask, why are there so many in mainstream Christianity, Catholic and Prodestant, who don't think I am going to hell?

What is in your heart that it is so dark that if I don't say the sinners prayer I have to be banished from the kingdom of heaven.

If you say the Bible thats fine, I know it I read it, I know the little passages in john and corinthians and romans and many of you say the fool hath said in his heart there is no god.

Does your heart honestly tell you that those who dont belief what you do go to hell? Does it really

Ok, let's be logical about this. If you are going to use the Bible as the final authority than you must adhere to what it says, right??? Right. It says that if you are not born again you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. It also says that everyone has sinned. God is perfect and just. He cannot look upon sin. ANY sin. Jesus took man's sin away. Covered by the blood of Jesus is the ONLY way to get to the heaven that bible describes.

If you don't believe that than the bible is simply not your final authority. So, from that point you need to find what our final authority is. The heart is deceiving. Salvation is NOT and emotion or a feeling. You can know you are saved. Sure you may feel something but it is more than a simply feeling. So, inconclusion, to use the bible as a final authority you must adhere to it no matter what you think. If it is not, then that would be a point of departure for those who do. I am not saying that out of hatred or anything.....I am saying that if we ascribe to different books then we are not speaking on the same thing. So we have to be clear on what and who believe. You are a Christian if you believe in Chirst. If you only believe in God, then I gues you can call yourself a believer or Jewish. However, the term Christian implies a belief in Jesus.

It doesn't matter what my heart says to me. My heart has led me wrong in the past - and if you've gotten through puberty, it's led you astray, also. It doesn't matter what others in "mainstream Christianity" might say. That's why we need to go by an objective standard. What does the Bible say?

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

The Bible also doesn't say anything about a sinner's prayer, except that God doesn't hear it (John 9:31). We are not told to "ask Jesus into our hearts," but to obey the will of the Father (Matthew 7:21), including washing away our sins through baptism (1 Peter 3:21; Acts 2:38, 22:16). We need to continue to be faithful, even to the point of death (Revelation 2:10).

Jesus loves you very much… so much so: He died for you!!

Sadly my friend... the Bible is very clear on who will enter heaven & who will not!!

It is also ‘VERY’ clear, on what we have to do/choose: if we want to get into heaven!!

We cannot 'Pick & Choose' the scriptures we like, and feel comfortable with: and disregard the rest!!

This is not ‘Fundamentalist Christianity’: this is ‘True’ Christianity… and like in any village: town: city: state: country: continent: you have ‘Laws’ & ‘Rules’ you have to abide by, or face the consequences & punishment of braking those laws/rules: so it is with Christianity!!

“Why are there so many in mainstream Christianity, Catholic and Protestant, who don't think I am going to hell”? Because like in everything else in life: there are those who interpret or bend the ‘rules’ to suit themselves… think the rules don’t apply… or don’t give a hoot about the rules… even if those rules are as clear as the nose on your face: & carry a Death Penalty!!

In my opinion, believing in Jesus alone will not get you to heaven. We all know that over the centuries, for their belief in Jesus, Christians have killed thousands of 'non-believers' unjustly. What would really bring you to heaven is your deeds. If you do good in your life, you'll earn the everlasting life. That's why you won't find any Mafia in heaven, no matter how strong their belief in Jesus and the Church. Yes, you still have the chance.

It grew out of fundamentalist Christianity. Really and your athority to say this is what? Mine to say that salvation come only in and through Christ is New Testiment..
John.14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If Jesus is a liar then there is no hope for anyone. Death will be the end... Jim

Going to heaven or hell is a choice you make. In all things in life we are presented with choices, (what I hope is that you choose what is right for you. Nobody can help you with that). Every choice bares a consequence, for example when we work we have to pay taxes, when we chose not to pay those taxes we face the consequences, harsh as they may be. In the same way choosing to believe in Jesus is a choice you have to make for yourself no one else can determine where you go but your choices will. Based on these choices we shall be judged by the only ONE fit to Judge us all. I can't tell you that you'll go to heaven or to hell, am not The JUDGE. The decision is ultimately yours and yours alone.

you're asserting: "in case you'll answer, please purely answer, do not quote different scriptures via way of reality i'm asking about those ones" it truly is a really arbitrary huge-spread of evidence you've there. once you could shrink out particular verses and then shrink what you'll settle for as evidence, there is particularly not something each and absolutely everyone can attempt this may help you realize -- if recognize-how is particularly what you're searching for. allow me propose that -- because you received't settle for various verses from me -- that you have interaction in a stumble on out about God the daddy. stumble on what you could about what God says about Himself, like the names he makes use of (like shepherd). take a seem also on the events he announces belong in reality to Himself, and no one else (like the perfect to verify). Then learn out the praise that He announces is His very personal (like worship and His very personal glorification.) next, undertake an similar learn, yet centred on Jesus. you recognize what you'll stumble on? you'll stumble on that in the technique scripture, Jesus claimed for Himself, reserved for Himself, and said as Himself, precisely an similar topics! you spot, it truly is not a verse or 2 or ten that asserts Jesus is God. it particularly is the finished of scripture. Jesus develop into very wide wide awake that He develop into equating Himself with God interior different stuff he did and suggested and reserved and proclaimed. He does not provide us the alternative of figuring out that he's a good guy, or a prophet, or an angel, or something. Our in reality determination is to come again to a decision as well the actual undeniable reality that if or not He develop into God or a liar or a nut interest.

Within the last 6 months, I've become more religious. I am getting more comfortable with my belief in God. I'm still having a tough time with Jesus, though. I believe that if you live a good life and don't do anything majorly wrong, you'll be fine. I don't know for sure that I believe in heaven, I think I'm more of a reincarnation person, but I just do my best to live a good life and hurt others the least amount possible. I think that's the best you can do, no matter what your religion.

Of course Jesus isn't God. He is the Son of God. Are you your father? No.

I fail to understand how many people think that Jesus and God are one and the same. They are not. God is the Father.....and Jesus is the son. I fail to understand how people cannot understand that. There are many references in the Bible that indicate it. But still, some folks wanna think that Jesus is the Avatar of God. Unbelievable.

As for the rest of your non-beliefs...that's on your conscience. You will be judged for that later. You still have time.
