What keeps you loyal to your stylist?

She knows my hair and me. She knows my lifestyle. I think I get more personalized service because she understands what I need and want.

For years and years, I have been seeing the same stylist and that is because she does what I want her to do. Most importantly, when I need a trim, she does not go crazy with the scissors and do not chop off a lot of hair. Also, she styles my hair very well. That said, she is getting old and it appears that she is paying less and less attention to me as an old customer. Now she has the confidence that no matter what, I will go to her. So to answer your question, I think it is better to have more than one hairdresser and use their services every other time.

My stylist is also my best friend. And she's very good at what she does. Unlike most stylists I've gone to, she listens to what I want and does my hair THAT way, not how she thinks it should be.

The conversations we have. I have been going to him for 29 years, since I was in high school. He and my husband are good friends, and play softball and are on the same bowling team. We have lots to talk about, and he is the only person who has cut my hair in that many years.I think moving away will stop me from going there.
