I have a sensitive tooth and I dont know what it is. I have never had a cavity and there is no hole/discoloration on the tooth. It only hurts sometimes. If it was a cavity, it would hurt after eating sweets right? Well after I eat sweets my tooth doesnt even bother me. What could the problem be?

Cracked tooth could be the problem. Possibly you are biting too hard on it and its getting sensitive from hyperocclusion . May have an undetected cavity of course but you could try a sensitivity toothpaste such as Sensodyne for a few weeks and see if that helps . Some patients have a hairline exposure of the dentin at the gum line which the Sensodine will fill wiith a precipitate and seal the area off .

You can't see a cavity, you need to go to the dentist. It would be sensitive to heat and cold, not always sweets.

Root canal ? Inflammation or infection of the nerve in there?
I had the same problem and was treated two days ago. I will have to go to the dentist again about one or two more time.

You could have a very fine crack in your tooth that is not visible to the naked eye. If it is cracked you will need to get a camp, not a fun process.

I really hope for you that it's something else.
