No one else but you can do it because you are a DEAD RINGER for a VERY BAD PERSON. The CIA will kill or capture this man or woman and teach you how to pass yourself off as his/her imposter. The mission is extremely dangerous and the odds are not in your favor that you will both save the world and get out of it alive. Would you do it?

Hmmmm. I don't know. Would they give me a choice? I guess I would have to, with the understanding that I've been known to freeze at the sight of danger.

Dude that's what I'm doing right now! It's so cool that you've picked a question which includes people like me. I'm a little bit honored by the revelation. Gotta go catch a movie and a slice of pizza! I've been impersonating some fat bastard for the last couple of weeks. Don't want anyone to find out that we replaced the real fat bastard with little old me.

They don't do that anymore. Now they're too busy trying to keep Bush and Cheney from invading countries that even the notoriously misguided CIA would not have been able to concoct reasons for going after. So let's say that Cheney asked me to go on the suicide mission for him.

Given his and Bush's tragically-inept pattern of deciding foreign policy, not only would I refuse to do it, but I'd tape the meeting in secret and hand over the tapes to the UN, NATO, the BBC, and CBS news. I'd get Cheney's and Bush's little hands slapped, I'd be an American hero, and I'd probably live to enjoy it for about forty-eight hours. Then I'd probably be found dead of a heroin overdose in the condo of a gay porn star that I hadn't even known existed. I'd be dead, ridiculed, and my family would never hear the end of it.

But I'd still done a great service for my Country, so it was all worth it to me.

If they were in a position to kill this 'very bad person' and were authorized to do so, he would be dead long before anyone knew I looked like him. I can assume the person is a him because I don't look like a her.

Absolutely. I already have a job where I get shot at to help save the world. I've already decided that what I do is worth dying for. Though, as Patton noted, it'd be even better if I could get the other poor dumb bastard to die for his country.

Ronald Reagan was once asked how he made a certain, very important decision. His reply was honest and blunt: he said he just asked himself, "What would John Wayne do?"

Yeah, I'd accept the mission.

Heck yeah! The opportunity to serve my country again would be all the incentive I would need. No I am not lying. If I could get back in the military I would in a heartbeat. (I have a back injury so I cannot get back in)

As long as George Bush controls the government, I do not trust any action taken by that government. I wouldn't trust the Bush government (regime) for yesterday's weather.

no..being shot at, possibly kidnapped and tortured with odds like this are not good. I will leave the life of adventure for someone else to live.
