It has not changed my life, the perspective on the issue has changed but in a way that i am aware of the details behind the accusation of Christ having a wife and child.

I am a strong believer in God and nothing will change my mind or make me regret it. I am so sorry for those who doubted their faith in Him. Sooner or later you will find out the hard way that you regret making that decision, and you will endure the absolute worst if you do not accept God into your life.

Yes, it made me realize that in this country you can blaspheme under the pretext of freedom of speech, and to make things more interesting , people don't protest, but rather they show interest in it. This country has no moral values.
No wonder we see on the news terrible crimes, students going to school with shotguns and killing as many as they could before killing themselves. Wives killing husbands and children, children killing their parents ( I know, it happens everywhere, but here in USA is our daily bread )
As they say, the world looks to USA and the USA watch TV

If the Da Vinci Code gets people talking about Jesus then it has given everyone who has seen it a chance to find out more about God. The book, I agree, is just a work of fiction and nothing more. Every now and again someone comes along and tries to tell you the Bible is wrong, and they're making a lot of money out of it, at other peoples expense.

Remember Eric Von Daniken, he was another con-man, telling us we came from outer space, there are too many loopholes in the Da Vinci Code as well as Von Daniken's work. The only truth is, that Jesus Christ, was indeed the Son of God. If you commit your life to the Lord, all these things will be revealed to you. It is a personal relationship with God and after you encounter that, you'll never be taken in by any more "theories" that try to dismiss our Lord and our God.

The Holy Spirit will answer all your needs, your questions, and there is plenty of Christian help available. I'm just sorry for the people who actually think these things are facts. They are very clever with their words and sound convincing, but the one flaw is they are WRONG.

Also, if you experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, nothing will distract you from God and His Will for you. The Christian has nothing to fear!

No, hasnt changed my life a bit. And while it is fiction, it raises a lot of really good questions about REAL issues. Dismissal of the book as pure fiction is simply closeminded.

I really enjoyed the book, it was extremely well written, but did it change my life? No way.

Christian here. I read the book and saw the movie. Of course it didn't change my belief but I was challenged to see the movie by a friend...he was a little shocked when I gave him the fact regarding this issue...he really thought this stuff was true...we had a good laugh

My LIFE? No. My perspective? YES.

This book introduced me to the concept of the Sacred Feminine which then led to knowledge of the existence of the Gnostic Gospels. Both have absorbed a great deal of my time and interest ever since.

No.......but I know that there is a strong possibility this isnt the first time that information that is taught out of a book portraying God and Jesus' viewpoints on life is viewed as "Fictional".

Which book Are you talking about. The bible, or the one Dan Brown wrote about it?

The bible may be the word of God but the way that it is interpreted makes it way more fictional than factual.

Yes, there are many minutes of sleep I will never get back, because I read the book.
Minutes of sleep that could have made me a happier person when I woke up the next day.

No. I researched the information given in the movie with what is the truth - the Word of the Lord - the Bible. It is invalid. There are many "false prophets" out there who will try to change our beliefs. Trust in the Word.

I never read it. I DID read the one that it was based on though (forgot the name--there was a big court battle). It educated me about the supposed real purpose of the Knights Templars.

As far as the Jesus stuff, this is stuff I was suspicious of all along...
