It depends on alot of factors, but generally, you can join up even with several misdemeanor covictions.

The different services have different standards, drug and weapon misdemeanors have a bigger effect than other ones. And any kind of spousal abuse, any thing that applies under the Lautenberg Amendment, means that you can not ever join the military. So I'd need more infor to give you a better answer.

no misdemeanors will not keep you out if you want to enter. good luck. a recruiting officer will get you in if you want to go in.
