Leave it. Who cares if other people who are mostly strangers think you are married or just dating.

It depends on the situation. A store clerk does not need to be corrected. A casual aquaintance or coworker should be gently set straight.

Yes, I would correct them. Recently my boyfriend and I went to look at a house he was interested in buying. The realtor asked us if we had any children, assuming that we were married. I said, "Yes, I have two sons, and he has 2 daughters, but we aren't married to each other." I think you can say "Oh, we aren't married." and leave it at that.

you would just let it be, obviouslly your significant other has made that person feel it is ok to call them. I had this situation once, I just let it go, and her too, like the old saying goes, you can kill all the guys she screws and she will continue or you can just kill her and be done with the problem, (thats a metaphor). in other words if you stop that person from calling there will just be another one. your significant other is inviting their calls.

Usually leave it be. Also get called "mommy" when out with bf's daughter, I usually let that one go too.

I wouldn't correct them...On the other hand I would correct them, if they called my husband my son!

depends on the situation. if it's a legal situation, yeah i'd correct them. if it's a friend or some random person, i'd just laugh and laugh and say 'but it's illegal!'.
