Euler, the mathematician who gave us complex analysis, wrote a proof of God.

it is e^(i*pi)+1=0 where e is the base of natural logarithms, pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, i is the positive root of (-1)^(1/2), 1 and 0 are the multiplicative identity and the identity under addition of the whole numbers.

I believe that this could also be an argument for the non-existence of God, but no one has ever considered me among the top few best mathematicians of all time.

Can't do that for Spiritual things and God is a Spirit. Not physical but there are physical proofs that God exists. Check out your eye.
take just one part of it away and you have no sight. Evolutionists would have you believe your eye, as the rest of you, evolved over billions of years but if that were true, you would have no sight so you could survive what they say it was like back then. Think of the birth of a baby and how it was formed and how it breathed liquid while in the womb and then comes out and breates air. Not by chance but a God that made that happen. There are all kinds of proof if you will but just look around you.

The simple answer to this question is No. That does beg the question can those that believe in spontaneous life find physical and mathematical solution for that theory.. Again the answer would have to be ..No. When it come right down to a beginning of universe that faith has to kick in because nothing can be proved beyond even a reasonable doubt....Jim

No neither the theologians nor the scientists can prove the existence of GOD (As all religions make us to believe). Theologians will bring abstract words forward to confuse us further. Scientists will confuse us even further by using some dual nature theory of God.

The existence of God cannot be proven in a laboratory or through the complicated mechanisms of logic. Neither can love, nor beauty, nor happiness, but that does not mean they are not real. In the same way, just because you cannot "prove" that God exists as you can prove a chemical formula, it does not mean that He is not real. It only means you are using the wrong tools.

Faith is not anti-intellectual. Mr. Graham has said, "Some of the finest scientists I have ever met are men and women with a deep faith in God, because they realize that science alone cannot explain where we came from or why we are here. They are convinced that science itself points to an all-wise and all-powerful Creator. As the Bible says, 'The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands' (Psalm 19:1)."

We invite you to look beyond the physical world to the greatest evidence of all—the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible says we can know God is real, because He came into this world in the Person of Jesus Christ. If you want to know what God is like, look at Christ, who is "the image of the invisible God" (Colossians 1:15). We urge you not to let pride or anything else get in the way of discovering the new life He alone can give. When we open our lives to Jesus Christ, we are admitting that we do not have all the answers and cannot save ourselves. The Bible says, "The foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men" (1 Corinthians 1:25).

The Bible also says, "You can never please God without faith ... Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God" (Hebrews 11:6, TLB). You best demonstrate your faith in a bank by putting your money in it. You best show your faith in a doctor by trusting him in times of illness. You best prove your faith in a boat by getting aboard. You demonstrate faith in Christ by trusting Him with your life and by receiving Him unconditionally as your Savior.

you opt for evidence? seem at a newborn infant, what more beneficial of a miracle do you opt for? seem on the sky, the timber, the grass. the position did all of that come from? guy might want to have positioned the tree there even if the tree turned right into a miracle of GOD. Your remark about being embarassed interior the perception of religion, i'm right here to inform you that i'm PROUD to position self assurance in my existence. If i did not trust i might want to be lifeless at present, trust me. What makes you flow on each and every and favourite? the love of money? the love of a lady? properly........faith keeps me occurring as i recognize faster or later i'd be with all my relations which have crossed over. I genuinely have GOD'S choose in my existence and that i'm finally satisfied interior the LORD. i'm sorry that you're so cynical about existence. i'm hoping this has helped and that i'll fairly pray for you, advantages.

Mathematicians can't even find a mathematical proof for the validity of mathematics (see Godel's Theorem) -- so how could they find a proof for the existence of God?

i think yes. Like what St. Thomas Aquinas did. He have the the five ways of proving God's existence. Just check it out yourself if you consider it as a scientific, or physical solution or explanation...

The Bible says that God is a Spirit. He is not a math statement or a physical object. Jesus loves you.
