Truth can only be truth if it is absolute by definition. Anything less is opinion, perception, relativism, or belief.

None of these affect the reality of truth, and truth does not change.

there can be for a period of time

untill another truth is found

unfortunately absolute truth is never as fixed or as absolute as it seems....... its far more fluid and changeable

for example: once a upon a time it was a TRUTH that the world was flat. It was an absolute truth...... in peoples minds. Then another truth was discovered.

truth is limited to what our human brains can stretch to at the time

Yes.
"I think, therefore I exist." is the only absolute truth.

Descartes, the French philosopher, gave a lot of thought into this, and he came up with the aforementioned phrase. His logic, which I find correct, is that every truth or reality we know depends on perception, it could simply be all an illusion.
All, except the fact that "I think and exist". That's undeniable.

Yes love is the absolute truth. Proof of this can be seen all around us. All we need to do is see the results of the unloving things that people do to each other to prove this to ourselves.

Facts exist, but TRUTH is relative to the person experiencing it.

For example:

In a young couple, one may think that the other is the greatest person ever born. For that person, this is TRUTH, but it NOT for the couple that live down the street.
