In your heart. Jesus says that the kingdom of heaven is within you. Paul says that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. All of Creation around you is a testimony of God's work. He has done it all for you, including giving you a heart that is receptive to him. If God cannot find your heart it is because you have hidden it from him. He will not force his way in---you must open the door to him.
