i have a bush tv model 1427 t portable tv with a frame colapse problem and anyone help me

Nearly always these last ten years or so the vert chip will be dry jointed ! if you can use a small soldering iron and you can find the vert chip then go for it , nothing to lose !!
I used to service the first Bush TV it was model TV 22 dated about 1956 , that set did not have chips !

oh my god i have a 19 inch magnavox and i got it two years ago at Christmas and i swear it does the same thing and you know what else happened to mine,you know the DVD inputs the are pushed all the way in i cant get them out,it pisses me off cause i got rid of a old 27 inch that functioned very well for this heap of junk just cause it didn't have a DVD input but when i bring it to the repairman i will let you know and if you find out first please post it on questions thanks and good luck

I don't know that much about the problem you are having but I hae to agree with a previous poster you might want to think about replacement

Let it go.. you can buy a Alba/Bush tv in Argos for £49.......
