I"ve had a cruch on guy for a year now. He is sooooooo intimadating to me b/c:
1.He's a grade high than me( Me 10 him 11)
2. He's now a football player.
I don't usually talk to guys i like. My family says to just get over it and talk to him but its hard What should i do?

When you said INTIMIDATING... I thought you meant Physically or emotionally.
It seems to me that he's not INTIMIDATING... You're TIMID.
Who cares that his grades are higher... that's a good thing!
He plays FOOTBALL OMG!!! - on a pro level? I think not! And besides... because he plays a sport, even if he plays it WELL...
that makes him MORE of a catch... as does the grades.
I think this problem is ALL YOU. You don't think you deserve to be with a successful guy. So that leads to the next question....
WHY NOT?
Your family is... of course... right. Examine why you don't feel WORTHY of a CATCH... Perhaps... you should date an unsuccessful BUM? Surely the competition for the latter, is less.

Just start talking to him, but be yourself. Don't try to be something you aren't like another answerer who told you to learn about football, unless you are truly interested in football. If the guy doesn't like you, you will learn that there are plenty of other guys out there that will be more then willing to chill with you!!!!

You are 10? Or in 10th grade? If you are 10 - go watch TV the cartoons are on. If you are 10th grade then just talk to him.

go to a game or practice then approach him after an tell him good game or practice with a flirty smile then continue to go if you can and make yourself noticeable make small talk you can do it:)
