Ill make this short and hopefully easy to understand

find a jump your comfortable with in the air and that only puts you about 2-3ft in the air. and preferably with a flat landing like a little ledge type deal.

hit the lip and level the bike out while at the same time using well say your right foot kick the bike hard to the left and lift your right foot.

as your bike starts the spin it will slow as your frame moves to the 180 position. this is when you must use your bars and kinda pull towards you and to the right to help bring it back around (kinda like hula hoop deal)

now once it starts it way back use your left leg to stop it and find your pedals.

now the whole reason i say use a little kinda step up onto flat landing is because it will allow you to land off your bike during any part of the trick and come out relatively un hurt... i meen unless you like to hit the ground alot then by all means find a bigger gap. but once you get it down its not so hard. and if you happen to have a trampoline bike handy practice alot on that it helps

Get a tail and whip

It depends on who's tail you're whipping. If your own, it's probably best to do this in front of a mirror. Hold whip firmly in right hand. Coil whip by swinging arm to your right, then snap your wrist back towards your rear-end (aka "tail"). When the whip contacts your tail, you're done. This is how you "tail whip."

Any other questions?

i never learnt how to a tail whip as im too old school and not good enough anyway, but i know people who can do it and apparantly the trick is to use your arms to bring the bike rouned more than your legs, even though it looks like all the power for the whip comes from your legs.
