Well thought out. People use all religions for personal gain. Salman Rushdie once said, "Fanaticism isn't about religion, it's about power." I agree 100%. Whether you're a Muslim, Christian, or Jew, all faiths have had men who abused their religion and brought shame in their name.
I hardly believe Osama bin Laden represents the essence of Islam, it is amazing though how many people buy into it though.

True, and I don't think you have had, such though because you are complite and a perfect people, person a/o individual. you have, perhaps many genuine and valuable reasons, to say this, as well than, such, could be just the reason, or in the future, can become (as will appeared to me, that it has been in some cases), and base in your question, personal, "Reasons". What have happen to the so call Christian, to pursue and persecute Humanity? and not Christianity?, Isn't so what is this all about it?, that the importance of this is Humanity and not Christianity?because I will not think for a minute that for God there is more important for man to be a Christain as to be Human?
Really I which not to bust your chops with this, and although I Haven't been my self very coherent, in my responds to you Question. what you are saying is true, and that is what Humanity is all about it. So, if you think about it, Why is there this assumption that Hitler was pure Evil, because from my point of view this is all of what we need to pursue what many will not be able to see a good Christian do.despite that to my knowledge Evil is just a force, although a negatived force, its what so call Christians have use to help the prince of Evil and or Prince of Darkness to achieved more illusions that he will win over "God desires for man to pursue, achieved and become, perfect and in God image pure Humans. It seams to me than that is the big issue, to pursue and understand, to gain in comprehension and understanding of what we need to accomplish to help in the pursue of God desires for man to become. Now, to day and every day, for ever and ever. In this way I am not juging, no one, not even Hitler, simple because of what its going on in the middle east right now, so, Jew's aren't Christians. This doesn't mean that Christians are better, nor are Jew's the elected race, for a good a/o an Evil reason?. This way of thinking doesn't made me Evil, but allow me to keep walking whith in the thin line of good and evil that is the true reality in which we walk in this world to day. God bless you, in the name of Jesus amen. From a Catholic believer, thank you for reading, and thank-you for your time.

Yep.
And it applies to all religions.
Mind, look at how many "Christians" now condemn all Muslims for what terrorists do in the name of Islam. Talk about wanting to run with the fox and hunt with the hounds eh?
I have found this to be a growing situation - It is rare indeed to find a proper Christian even in a crowded church. A significant percentage of self-professed Christians are actually an embarrassment to their religion, and succeed only in bringing it in to disrepute.

Sure their have been many that done their deeds in the name of God, but we will leave him to sort it all out in the end...I also agree Hitler was pure evil, so are the murders, terrorists, and the fallen pastor who molested the little child and took away his innocence. But we are not the judge. Spend more time thinking about the good works of the good people, I am sure their are some where you are.

My first reponse is that many have used religion for their cause. 99.9% of all wars are direct results of religion. That includes many different faiths.
Secondly, Hitler may have believed in Christ, but the Bible says that even Satan and his followers believe (and know) there is a Christ. That doesn't make them Christians. I believe Buddah lived, but I'm not Buddist.
Third, no Christian is perfect or should project the false image that they are. There has only been one perfect person and he suffered a horrible death when he was nailed to a tree.

Yes many have used christianity for their cause throughout history and continue to do so today to justify what they do or their behavior. Such as the man who steals from work to give things to his church so they will think he's a great guy (because they don''t know he stole it). Or the people that cheat on their spouses but go to church and say they believe in God, so it must be ok.
The history of church and religion is filled with immoral and cruel acts, murders and torture all in the name of religiion - but I still believe, not so much in the church or religion, those are human things, but in God.

NO i do not. seem on the rape regulation in Deu. a woman is advised to wrestle and to scream. the position else contained in the international do you listen this way of argument? That became very enlightened for it really is time. women, you've the ability to wrestle back and to make it end. you've a lot power, in truth, in case you do not attempt, we are going to punish you. It would not seem that way in the beginning, yet once you research it to women (received't say the age or the nationality) affirming that once men grab at them the following, they don't say something for concern that men will kill them. OH MY GOD!!!!! Now, it really is oppression. besides, i do not realize each little thing about the Bible and women, yet i have considered the right result that "christian" international locations (or a minimum of international locations that uphold christian beliefs) has executed for the rights of girls. and that i have considered the way it compares with something else of the international. I thank God for Christianity and for Christian men (who extremely are committed to following Him).

Sure, a few bad apples don't spoil the whole barrel...but we do have to find them.
The problem is, Muslims have not convinced me that OBL, al-Zarkawi, Ahmadinejad, Nazrallah and other Islamofascists are bad apples...they seem representative of the whole bunch when their actions are not strongly and universally condemned in the Arab world.

I see your point in wanting to defend the "good" Christians who have good fruits......But the truth of the matter is that Christianity is a huge conglomeration with many "bad apples", and if you claim to be a Christian then, you have to claim them as your brothers and sisters.....It pollutes you also.
I love the Lord with all my heart, but he let me know 14 years ago, "to come out from among them and be separate."

well u cant blame religion and God for stupid actions of man. be it any religion or God for that matter. God says if someone commits a sin then stop him or when someone opresses u and ur family then protect them.
but no God and religion will ask u to kill someone who is innocent, someone pure and someone free os sin. also it was man who misterprets the word of God and kills another man.
and let me tell u that i used to study in an irish presentation church convent and i did not find anyone with hatred, but when i stepped into my life only did i then realise how bitter man was.
may the peace and blessings of Allah be with us and may He guide us in the right path.
