I found out my cat has a love for coffee, But Is that okay for her to eat?

Hi there... it's in fact dangerous. If enough is eaten it can be fatal for both dogs and cats. The lethal dose of caffeine for dogs and cats is 150mg/kg body weight, and regular instant coffee contains over 60mg caffeine per teaspoon - so for a 3 kg cat 8 teaspoons of coffee would be potentially fatal, and there is NO ANTIDOTE.

Signs of poisoning that may be noticed by owners include :

Excitement
Increased breathing rate
Increased heart rate
Muscle tremors
Fits
Bleeding
Veterinarians may also detect :

Abnormal heart rhythm (called arrhythmias)
Generalised congestion

Seriously, if it doesn't make it sick and still eats enough regular food to get it's normal nutrition, I don't think it would be a problem.

I had to switch my cat to De-Caf because he kept beating the crap out of my Dog.

Probably not-caffeine is not that great for humans, so I can't imagine how it can be good for cats.
