Give her less milk. When she's hungry she will eat. Your 2 yo only requires 3/4 L of milk a day.

Usually, a 2 year old will eat when they are hungry. If they don't eat, it is because their body just isn't needing the energy. However, there is a medical condition that causes some people to eat only white food. Have you tried cooked rice, or mashed potatoes? Whatever the problem is, don't scold her for not eating, because she may associate food with punishment or anger and that can cause her to have an eating disorder later in life.

Take your daughter to a pediatrician for a complete physical. She could have a physical problem or a psychological problem.
Two is called "The Terrible Twos" when a child begins to experiment with power and the power of negativity. She could have a bad case of the "Terrible Twos" that has gone to a pathological extreme.
But you won't know until you have her checked out by a doctor.
In the meantime, spike her milk with liquid supplements or Pediasure.

First you have to watch how much milk a child drinks. Milk is good for them but to much milk can not only prevent them from eating but it can also keep their bodies from absorbing iron. When my daughter went through this the pediatrician told me to give her milk at meals and only at meals the rest of the time water or juice, she won't drink as much and will then be ready to eat, also find something she will eat and keep it on hand, mine lived off of mac and cheese which worried me to death but her doctor said as long as she was eating it let her and as long as she was healthy not to worry most kids will go through these stages. she is 14 now and a bright, beautiful, healthy teenager so it must have worked.

My daughter does the same thing she's almost 3. You can't really make her eat. But PLEASE talk to your peditrician about geting her on Pedisure. It will help MASSIVELY! Because then she will be getting minerals and vitamins that she needs. And you might be able to get it through Medicade if your daughter has it. Medicade pays for all of my daughter's and she gets 3 pedisure's a day. And she thinks that they are chocolate and strawberry milk, plus you can get more flavors. But definatly look into it. Hope it helps!

this is a pretty common problem for parents. The child may be exercising her power over you. Usually children will eat when they get hungry. Just make sure you are offering healthy foods, not trying to bribe her with cookies just to get her to eat something. However a quick trip to the md should be done to rule out any medical problems.

FLUIDS ARE VERY FILLING. MY DOCTOR SUGGESTED THAT I CUT MY 2YEAR OLDS MILK DOWN TO 18OZ. 1.5 LITERS IS A LOT OF MILK FOR A LITTLE PERSON. TRY CUTTING BACK ON FLUIDS A LITTLE BIT EVERY DAY, AND ADD SMALL SNACK LIKE MEALS INSTEAD, PIECE OF CHEESE,FRUIT, VEGGIE STICKS, EVEN A SPOON OF PEANUT BUTTER (PROTEIN/DAILY SERV. OF FAT) , JUST BE CREATIVE. AND REMEMBER IF SHE REJECTS IT DON'T FORCE HER LET HER KNOW ITS THERE IF SHE GETS HUNGRY AND LET HER BE. SHE WILL GET HUNGRY, IF SHE STILL DOESN'T CALL YOUR DOCTOR.

You may need to bring her to see a Doctor as soona s possible. It can be something wrong with her intestine.
Has she pooped since she stops eating? If not that's also an indicator of something wrong too... I hope it helps.

Obviously you need to see your doctor. This sounds very unusual. They will give you the advice you need, and/or tell you what sort of "phase" this is and how to break it.
If you are not happy with your doctor's answer please seek a second opinion.
