If a man told you he was a professional photographer, showed you his credentials, and asked you to pose for him in the nude,.. would you? If so, what would you expect in return, if anything. If not, could he say or do anything to change your mind? What would it take to get you to do it?

If the man could demonstrate to me that he was really an art photographer -- for example, if galleries had hosted shows of his work, or if it had been published in magazines -- then I would consider it.

I would almost certainly ask to see the studio in advance and I would want to feel that it was a professional workplace, with other people around during the shoot, ideally other women. I certainly would not agree to be photographed in a nonprofessional or private location.

I would expect to be compensated at the going rate for nude models in life-drawing classes, commercials, etc.

No. Not unless it was someone I knew personally. And a professional photographer would probably have a list of professional models. I believe a model should be compensated and have a contract that describes in detail the work and how it will be used.

Actually this has happened to me. This professional photographer contacted me asking if I would model for him. I asked him a whole lot of questions and came to a conclusion that this was a joke. I wanted to see legal documents... and legal contract for his deal that he was offering only 20 girls. Of course by his sarcasm remarks of why I became smart all of a sudden.. lol. I turned him down. Then a month later, he had legal documents ready to send. Asked if I would sign this commission contract. He sent it. And I told him I signed it. And needing to send in mail. Well before all this he asked about nude pics. I said well not nude all the way... only to a certain degree... only if I agree. He said fine. Later on I showed him part of my portfolio... and he asked ... What about a website? Nude? Doing me? Whatcha think? I said no nude.. no website... comprenda? Well he bugged and bugged... He wanted me to be his women!! LOL I ended up telling him all this legal bull crap about how he was no being proffesional. And I saved all my conversations (which I always do) For some reason... he was speechless.... and never responded!! ummm... funny huh? I really hope this answered your question... :)

I might do it, if I saw samples of his work and talked to a few of his models AND if I took a large man with me to protect me from pervy-ness.
Then I think I would.
What would I expect in return? I would expect to discuss what these would be used for, payment for any publication, I would expect for them to be done tastefully and if they were to be more explicit than I want that I could have the option of having my face not visible. I would expect to have a contract written up that gives the photographer limited useage of the images with any additional usage to be oked by me first (with additional paymene)

Only a really naive person would fall for something like that. Gals that want to pose nude will find someone to take their picture.

umm i would slap him with his own portfolio and shove his credentials up him bum the only reason for nude phots is either artistic or perverted im thinking you dont want to capture the female form for artistic purposes

No. If he kept bothering me, I'd smack him over the head with his portfolio.
